Ellabelle grabbed a large piece of paper and sprawled it across her desk with all three of her friends surrounding her. She took a twig pencil and drew a somewhat sloppy drawing of the Magic Council's stump.

"This is what we need to infiltrate," She explained, tapping on the paper a few times for added emphasis. "So... what's the plan?"

"I don't know, you have the pencil," Lue shrugged.

"This is no time for games, Lue, I need acceptable answers, please." Ellabelle replied, sticking her tongue out at him. Lue smirked.

"Well, I've seen enough action movies to know that we should probably split up, that way we can cover more ground and get to Hadley more efficiently." Dask replied, scratching behind his ear.

"We already know there's gonna be security cams watching our every move," Catra replied. "Lord Brilland has those repulsive fireflies... that snake." She added, rolling her eyes.

"Easy, killer." Ellabelle tried to calm her. "Here's what we'll do: Catra and I will go together to get Hadley, and you two boys will be in charge of disabling all of those fireflies. And from what we saw at the Horizon Fest, they are programmed to attack if they see anything out of the ordinary, so you guys have to move fast and blend in. Dask will get eaten by robot bugs if not." Ellabelle cringed.

Dask furrowed his eyebrows. "Why can't we go get Hadley? I've known her since she was born. I've never spent more than a day away from her before." He asked, crossing his arms.

Ellabelle scratched her head. "Well... after we get her, then we can all have a little reuniting party. I feel that you boys would be better at moving fast to disable them," She mentioned.

"Ok, and what happens after that? Do we win?" Dask asked hopefully, adjusting his hat flaps.

"I'm afraid not," Ellabelle sighed. "I want to try and negotiate with the Magic Council. You know, uncover all their dirty lies to us, that sort of thing. And if they don't comply... well..." Ellabelle's sentence drifted off.

Catra excitedly raised her hand, as if she was a child in a classroom.

"Umm... yes, Catra?" Ellabelle replied.

"Can we fight them to the death?" Catra asked with a mischievous smile.

"To our death, or their death?" Lue cringed.

"Preferably their death, but those are the strongest fairies in these lands. They have the wands and the giant wings... but we have the spirit. I guess." Ellabelle bit her lip.

"That was the most motivational speech I've ever heard. That makes me want to climb into the grave right now," Catra said jokingly. "Oh, I'm just kidding. We have enough resources to fight against them, right?"

Ellabelle looked at the ring and the wand that sat on her desk. She remembered the night when she found out the secrets of her past in the Tree of Ancestors. The moon showed her to open this chest, but why was she the only one who could open it? How had no one else found these magical objects before her? Magic made no sense sometimes.

"I have a wand and a teleportation ring," Ellabelle added. "We can use those to our advantage."

"Wait, how do you have a wand?" Catra asked.

"Uh... I... found it in the Tree." Ellabelle replied, cringing. She couldn't explain what she was doing there; she would expose the secret too fast.

"Wait a minute, you've been to the Tree? Did you find out who your family is?" She asked. Everyone was looking at her hopefully. Ellabelle had to redirect the conversation.

"This isn't the time. We have to get going." Ellabelle replied. Her heart was beating faster than ever before. "We can use my ring to teleport there. Let's avoid flying at all costs."

"That should be easy for you," Lue chuckled to himself.

"Not now, Lue." Catra sighed.

"Wait a minute," Dask added, just before they went out the door. "What's our battle plan called?"

The others thought in unison. No one had thought about that. After a few seconds of silence, Ellabelle piped up.

"Operation Kira," She said.

Without questioning her response, the others followed Ellabelle out the door, their nerves tingling at the thought of their upcoming mission.
