VIVIENE FOUND HERSELF IN A DARK, EMPTY FIELD.

She frowned and looked around. The field was completly empty- no animals, trees, plants- it was dead. Completly and utterly dead.

Viviene walked forward, her hand  reaching for the blue crown on her head, only to realize it wasn't there. She looked down at her hand, where she'd usually find her ring peacefully on her finger.

No ring.

She reached for her belt and found it empty, zero daggers around her waist.

Viviene's heartbeat quickened dangerously. Fear coursed through her veins, anxiety blowing away her usual  confidence.

She couldn't feel her powers, too. She was completly powerless.

"Warrior girl." A familiar gentle and princess- like voice spoke in a whisper.

Viviene turned swiftly and her eyes widened. In front of her stood Zoe Nightshade, her dark hair braided and her face young, eye's sharp but gentle at the same time.

"Zoe!" Viviene gaped at her." What are you doing here?"

Viviene hurried towards her, ready to hug her-

A hand punched her in the nose, knocking her backwards.

"Zoe!" Viviene frowned." What the-"

Zoe stared down at Viviene, her foot on  Viviene's chest.

"My death was your fault."

Viviene was about to speak, but the image shifted.

She was in the strawberry fields  back in camp. Still without her weapons, and without her powers.

"You." Flynn's voice sharply said. Viviene turned and faced her step-brother. " Traitor! How dare you show your face here?"

"Flynn?" Viviene asked, gulping. His eyes glew a dangerous yellow, threatening her. " Are you... What's going on?"

"Her death. It's all your fault! How dare you pretened all innocent to me?" Flynn yelled. "She was my girlfriend!"

"No, no Flynn." Vivene said in desperation, tears running down her cheeks." Please. I lost control. I didn't want to kill her."

Flynn's hands shot up and light shooted towards Viviene.

The location shifted again.

Viviene was in her empty dorm, back leaning against the wall, Alcippe's sword in her hand.

"Luke?" Viviene asked hoarsley, watching the man in front of her. The figure was Luke, in the same clothes he wore on the ship when he told her Holden was using her.

"How dare you not want to join us?" Luke sneered. " You will regret this. You will regret this, Viviene Smith."

"No, no Luke please! You have to see sense!" Viviene begged. "This isn't you. You don't want this. Please. I miss my older brother. I miss my best friend."
