THE EXPLOSIONS SHOOK THE FOREST OF CAMP HALF- BLOOD.

Viviene shook her head when the shaking subsided, more unwanted tears gathering in her eyes.

"No." Viviene turned her head towards the closed door, lifting her palm. "I'm going back to him."

She was about to open the door, but Annabeth spun her around, holding her hands tightly.

"Let go." Viviene threatened. And that was when Annabeth noticed her eyes were still flaming.

"Viviene," Annabeth whispered as she heard footsteps. "I'm sorry."

"No! Annabeth don't say that!" Viviene shook her head, eyes wide. "He's alive. Right? He- he- he won't die. He'll come back, right, Annie?"

Annabeth stayed quiet, watching as campers gathered around them.  Chiron and her shared a look.

Instead of comforting her, Annabeth pressed her hands into Viviene's tighter, gently shaking her head.

Viviene felt her world crumble. She pushed Annabeth away and one of the campers caught her. Viviene turned to Chiron, pointing an accusing finger at him.

"Now I understand what Luke and Holden meant. Why they betrayed camp." She accused , a glare on her face and her tone cold. "You, you knew this would happen. The Gods knew this would happen. Annabeth knew this would happen! And nobody did anything to prevent it?"

"Prophecies can't be prevented." Chiron spoke in a gentle tone. In a tone full of pity.

"I don't want your pity!" Viviene yelled. "I want Percy back. Bring back Percy."

Clarisse stepped in front of Chiron, Silena next to her.

"Viviene, calm down." Clarisse said, her eyes on her sister's palms.

"Why? So I don't murder anyone?" Viviene let out a dry laugh." you're the last person I want right now, Clarisse! You wanna end up like Elodie?"

Clarisse took the punch and closed her eyes. Seeing her sister like this was hell. It made her realize what kind of bad sister she has been all these years. She wanted to comfrot her, but Viviene didn't want her.

She wanted Percy. Clarisse and all the campers knew he was the only reason she's survived this long with these crazy powers, and all of them were scared.

"Viviene?" Silena spoke up quietly. Viviene's eyes glared towards her, but Silena didn't back down. " Percy wouldn't want this."

The sentance broke both Silena and Viviene. Viviene's eyes shot back to a brown colour as she fell on her knees, sobs leaving her mouth. Chiron ordered the campers to leave Silena and her alone, and they did so.

Silena stared at her once best friend. she was on her knees, crying and begging the Gods to bring him back.

Silena wondered to herself, why did her mother have to do this?

Silena sat next to the girl and pulled her in a hug, holding Viviene to her chest.

Silena never let go off the hug, not caring Viviene was ruining her shirt. Viviene felt Silena stroke her hair, which only made her cry harder.
