“Të bekuar me gjakun e engjëjve ne si kërkues zotohemi të mbrojmë.” Hayley chanted. ‘ Which means, Blessed with blood of angels we as seekers vow to protect.’

The seeker’s realm was on earth but in another dimension. In every village, town, or city at a certain location, if a Seeker chants the words, the realm would open. Security measures were also in place, ensuring invalid entries.

“Hey, Hayl’s” John the guard greeted as she and Ava entered, Arcadia.

Arcadia was the home of all seekers. Arcadia was a place of calmness.

Hayley inhaled the fresh air as she looked around taking in the magnificent scenery. The sky was crystal clear. The mountains in the distance showed its beauty by portraying its waterfall. The waterfall showered down into the plunge pool below as it sprinkled its drops onto the plants on the riverbanks. The animals look up from taking a drink of water from the river. The trees full of fruit were surrounded by green grass, and the walking pathways were laid out between the trees that surrounded the houses.

The God of angels and humans first created the Garden of Eden for humans on earth. God gave them a demand but they disobeyed him. He banished them from Eden. They were forever forbidden to enter the garden. When seekers were born the angels permitted the seekers to enter the garden. Seekers change the name to Arcadia. Arcadia stood for its peace. Every piece of land in Arcadia was extraordinary.

Arcadia was divided into the north, the south, the east, and the west. The houses in the north were surrounded by mountains. The top of the mountains was always covered in snow. The houses and pathways were built on crystal-clear waters. South looked the same as North, and east looked the same as west.

“Ava where are you going?” Hayley looked confused at Ava who was walking in the wrong direction.

“Home,” Ava shouted

“We need to report our mission to my father Ava.”

“Nope. It’s not my mission. I just tagged along. You can get the credit for the kills, and besides I almost got killed today. I had enough excitement for one day thank you very much.” Ava said as she stopped while looking back over her shoulder. “The last thing I want to see today is your father biting your head off. Bye.”

“AVA!!!” Hayley screamed from behind, “Thank you for covering my back. What a great friend you are.” Hayley mumbled to herself as she walked toward her father’s office.

“Hey. Louisa is he in his office ?” Hayley asked the secretary behind the desk.

Louisa was in her mid-fifties, the kindest soul you could ever meet.

“Hey, Hayley. You look as though you had a rough day. When was the last time you slept?”

“Ahh, thanks. I will take that as a compliment.” Hayley ignored the concerned look on Louisa’s face. She tilted her head, and asked again. “Is Jack in Louisa?”

“Yes. He is.”

“Can I go in?”

Louisa gaze lingered on Hayley for a few seconds before answering, “Yes. You may.”

“Thank you,” She walked up to the door knocking twice, and waited for Jack to answer before entering.

“Come in.” A stern voice called out.

Hayley opened the door and walked inside. Jack sat behind his desk going through some documents. He gazed up from his document to see who entered. Seeing who it was, Jack placed the papers aside and leaned back in his chair as he glared at Hayley.
