Chapter 8

Hayley sensed their presence before she heard their furious growls. She slowly turned around feeling slightly irritated. The first thing she noticed was the guy standing in the middle of the three that was in front. Hayley lifted an eyebrow as she sensed the men were rather hostile than inviting towards her. That alluring man caught her attention immediately. She could not believe any man could look so handsome. Everything about him was built to perfection, and what puzzled her the most was the pull she felt towards him. She has never felt this drawn to any man in her life before. Hayley frowned thinking she was probably having a fever caused by the light rain or losing her mind. She noticed the guy looking rather surprised when he looked at her. He tilted his head as he tried to sum her up.

Hayley was the first to break the awkward tension. "This one on my back told me to bring her here. She has been bitten by a vampire and has passed out from the pain, I think. I do not know how your kind is treated, so please do take her from me, or are you guys planning on growling and staring at me the whole night?"

The men standing with Mr. Handsome looked startled at each other before three of them hurried forward and took Daciana from her. They were still vigilant and not letting their guard down for a moment.

"Take her to the hospital quick." Mr. Handsome ordered while looking at Hayley.

The three men rushed away leaving the others behind. The only light that shone was those from the houses. The moon was not visible since it was blocked by the dark clouds.

It was the first time Hayley felt uncomfortable under another stare. Luckily she was good at keeping her emotions from showing. They were standing in the light rain while no one made any attempt to make the first move.

Hayley thought she should be the one to explain since she was the trespasser.

"Okay, look I mean no harm. I would not have come into your village or whatever you call this place if that girl did not get herself in trouble, and since it clearly looks like she is someone important, why did you let her wander outside alone anyway?"

"That girl you are revering to is my sister!" Mr. Handsome growled.

Hayley lifted her eyebrows. "Okay. I take it you're the leader then."

"I am the ALPHA."

"OKAY!"

"What are you?" He asked.

"I'm a seeker."

The man's expression turned into disgust.

"Okay then, I will take my leave," Hayley said upon noticing it.

'We can not let her leave.' Leo, Ash's wolf said.
'You think I don't know that.'
'Then what are you doing stop her!'
'I know what you are thinking, and you are wrong. It's impossible!'
'Ash, you can deny it all you want, but we can't ignore the pull we feel toward her. She is...'
'I said IMPOSABLE! You said you don't sense a wolf in her!'
'Yes, but I can smell that she has werewolf blood in her.'
'I WILL ONLY SAY IT ONCE AND NEVER AGAIN. IT'S IMPOSSIBLE.'
After saying that Ash blocked Leo out.

"I never said you could go!" Ash said.

Hayley could not believe Mr. Handsome. She just saved his sister but he did not show her any bit of gratitude. From the start, he was an arrogant snobbish prick and it bothered the shit out of her that she wanted to jump his bones.

Tobias, the warrior behind Ash walked forward. Hayley followed Tobias with her eyes as he walked towards her, just before he reached out to grab her Hayley spoke,
"Touch me and you will regret it."

Tobias snickered. He ignored her warning and reached for her. Before he could even touch her, Hayley kicked him on his knee making him kneel. When his knees hit the ground she kneed him on the nose. Tobias instantly grabbed his nose. A furious growl erupted from him.

Hayley laughed when she saw his anger.
"I kill Demons for a living boy. Killing a dog will be child's play."

The sound of bones breaking filled Hayley's ears. It didn't even take a second before a big gray werewolf attacked her. Hayley easily avoided the attack.

"TOBIAS STOP!"

Tobias instantly stopped at his Alpha's command.

Hayley found the whole situation quite laughable.

"I saved and brought back one of your kind, but rather than being thanked, you guys attacked me."

'Alpha she has a point. I never question you but why are you treating this girl this way? She did save your sister.' Dalton, Ash's Beta said through the link.'

Ash ignored Dalton and glared at Tobias. "I never gave any order to attack the seeker. Know your place, warrior!"
Tobias glared at Hayley as he answered Ash.

"Yes, Alpha."

Ash moved his eyes to Hayley, as he continued. "Even though you saved my sister we do not know what motive you had for doing it. You have to stay here until we decide otherwise. We can't take the risk of you disclosing our whereabouts to anyone other supernaturals."

Hayley thought back to the witch's words;
"The past and future you seek are already unlocked inside you. Let your bloodline lead you to the path you seek."

'Maybe I have some link to this place. I am part werewolf after all if what that witch said is true and maybe my bloodline led me here.' Hayley thought to herself.

"Okay," Hayley answered.

Ash was rather taken aback by Hayley's answer. He thought she would put up a fight to leave. He felt all types of different feelings at once. She was someone who went against everything he believed in. She was stubborn, obnoxious, and annoying.
What confused him most was the way he felt toward her when Tobias attacked her. He wanted to tear Tobias apart. He did not know what to make of his feelings.
