Ch 1

(AJ's Pov)

Waking up to my alarm I immediately groan and reluctantly open my eyes staring at my blurry curtains. After a moment of just laying there I reluctantly sit up and pull my glasses on before turning the annoying alarm off. Sighing I reluctantly get out of bed and go to grab my school uniform to get ready for the place I see as hell. I put the uniform on making sure my arms are covered and struggle a little with the tie but I eventually get it then head to my bathroom to quickly brush my teeth and run a brush through my light brown hair my blue eyes going over my appearance. I then grab my backpack and head downstairs where I smell the familiar dull scents of alpha and omega seeing both of my dads maneuvering around each other to get ready for work. Both of my dads are doctors and work at the hospital they having adopted me when I was four in America. Because my dad can't have pups and we moved to South Korea when I was thirteen years old because my appa missed his home country. It's been hell for me ever since. Especially having to learn the language and the fact that I'm sixteen and still haven't presented as anything yet. Putting on a brave smile I take a seat at the table grabbing a banana to eat. "Morning dad, morning appa." They both greet me cheerfully my appa turning to me with a smile. "We're going to be working late tonight but we left you the option to make food or buy something." I give a little nod as I finish my banana I getting up to throw away the peel. I then check the time and sigh. "I better get to school." I quickly give my parents a quick hug before making my way to the hell that's school. Once I arrive I stand at the gate just staring full of anxiety until I suddenly feel myself get knocked to the pavement harshly I grimacing as I feel my elbows and knees scrape up my glasses thankfully not breaking as they fall off my face. "Watch it freak your fat ass is blocking the entrance." I flinch from the alpha's words and tone but mumble an apology as I grab my glasses not getting to my feet until the alpha bully leaves with a scoff towards me. Sighing I head inside reluctantly heading to my locker I trying to keep on my feet despite being knocked into repeatedly. Once I reach my locker I'm unimpressed by the multiple notes stuck all over with harsh words and insults. I rip them all off and toss them in the trash nearby before opening my locker to grab my small first aid kit and notes for literature class. I then close the locker before heading to class managing to avoid anymore trouble. Once I get into class I'm alone so I head to the front by the window and open the small first aid kit before I start cleaning and bandaging my elbows and knees being quick about it so no one will see my scarred arms. Once I'm done I put the kit away before I look up seeing that my classmates are all coming in the teacher soon getting our attention when it's time for class to start. "Alright class we're going to be doing reports but you'll all be assigned partners. Each of you will be assigned a book to read and discuss then you're to write up a report on it as well as make a little diorama to represent the book. Now I already have the partners assigned so when I call your name go find your partner." I internally groan at having to work with someone because basically everyone in school hates me. Finally I hear my name I listening in anxiously. "Kim AJ and Lee Minho." I immediately freeze in my seat as I hear whispers throughout the class. Lee Minho and his group of friends are known to be the schools scariest group ever. There's two mated omegas in the group it being said that the groups in a gang and I wouldn't doubt it. But Minho is a quiet intimidating alpha who doesn't talk to anyone in class he just stays in the back by himself not commenting or talking to anyone. Him and his friends tend to keep to themselves and it's apparently been that way since before I moved here. Swallowing I slowly get up and grab my things before making my way to the back of the classroom when suddenly I stumble over a foot that is put out I luckily catching myself. I then head over to Minho and bow politely I adjusting my glasses nervously I noticing he has a nice light vanilla scent. "Um hi I'm AJ." He seems to observe me for a moment before saying softly. "I'm Minho nice to meet you." I'm a little surprised by his greeting I having expected the cold shoulder. Soon the teacher walks over handing us two books I picking one up curiously. "Hmm looks interesting." I then look at Minho a little uncomfortably reaching up to push my glasses up my nose. "Um maybe we should exchange numbers so we can discuss this project." He nods and we quickly exchange numbers when the bell rings I getting up and grab my things quickly running off.
