Ch 8

(AJ's Pov)

It's been two weeks and I'm finally able to go back to school after everything that went on. First I went into heat for five days which was a miserable experience because for some reason I just kept wanting the scent of vanilla around. Then once my heat completely stopped I went to get a check up to make sure everything was alright and my parents tried to start me on a new suppressant to dull my scent. Only for me to end up going into anaphylactic shock as soon as I took it. Then we tried a few more different suppressants only for the same thing to happen with each one. So my parents reluctantly gave up on getting my scent dulled because we also tried the scent blockers but they chemical burned my neck. Sighing I adjust my glasses as I make my way to the school gates I taking a deep breath before I enter I walking down the hall my nose wrinkling at all of the different intense scents surrounding me. I also hear whispers and feel stares on me I cautiously going to my locker ignoring the notes and slurs I throwing them all away. I then open my locker and grab my notes when I suddenly hear a throat clear my nose wrinkling at the scent of spice cake and alpha. I cautiously turn around raising an eyebrow at the older looking boy who's American as well with his bright blonde hair and sapphire blue eyes. "Yes?" He smiles down at me cutely. "Hi I'm Brett Yakimura. I'm new here and I couldn't help but notice how pretty you are." I immediately give him a look of surprise. "W.... What? Me?" He chuckles softly and taps my nose in a flirty manner. "Yes you. I was wondering if you'd like to maybe come watch my basketball tryouts this afternoon and then afterwards we can get ice cream." I go to say something when I suddenly smell an extremely intoxicating scent of vanilla and alpha approaching my inner wolf whining the word mate. Swallowing I snap out of my little daze and ask in embarrassment. "I'm sorry what were you asking?" The older boy gives me a reassuring smile. "I was wondering if you wanted to go out this afternoon." I go to say something when I suddenly hear a deep dark growl and a firm familiar voice snaps firmly. "He's not interested." I swallow and slowly turn around only to see Minho standing there looking pissed off. My inner wolf whines the word mate and I go to say something when Brett speaks up protectively. "I was asking him not you. He's got a right to answer for himself." I blush slightly and say a little uncomfortably. "I uh I better not I'm sorry." Brett looks at me with a frown. "Are you sure? If this alpha's intimidating you I can make him leave." I hear Minho scoff in annoyance. "Yeah right. I'd like to see you try." I go to say something when Brett growls a little his eyes flashing red. "What you want me to prove it? I won't hesitate to kick your ass." Minho growls back his eyes also flashing red and I immediately feel scared and uncomfortable at the stand off they both moving towards each other. Next thing I know Minho's throwing a punch and Brett quickly dodges it he easily shoving Minho backwards who stumbles on his feet a little before he throws another punch. Finally having had enough when Brett shoves Minho against the lockers so hard they clang I yell out in an annoyed angry voice. "That's enough!!" Both alpha's stop and turn to me with a frown I looking upset and frustrated. "I don't want you fighting over me! It's stupid! I don't like conflict and I hate violence! And you don't need to try killing each other for my attention because you're both acting like a bunch of knot heads!" Before they can say anything I storm off bypassing my classroom door and head straight for the sports field where I sneak over to the bleachers and climb underneath them sitting on the grass trying to calm my nerves down.

(Minho's Pov)

Hearing AJ yell out angrily I immediately stop and turn to him frowning my nose wrinkling at his soured scent my wolf whining about how our omega's upset. He then continues to yell at us before storming off I feeling a little bad and also annoyed I glaring towards the other alpha. "This is all your fault." He scoffs a little. "My fault? I was just asking out a cute omega when you came and took over." I growl dangerously at that and Brett raises an eyebrow at me. "What's your problem?" I give him a dark look saying in a pissed off aggressive tone. "My problem is some freaking conceited alpha comes in here and immediately has to go after my mate. Do you understand that? He's MINE!!" The other alpha's eyes widen slightly in surprise. "I didn't know. He's not marked or scented or anything like that." I give him a look. "Because he literally JUST presented and got back. I caught his scent and I was going to discuss it with him but you wouldn't back off." The alpha frowns a little looking guilty. "Sorry man. I'll step back you go get your mate." I nod in approval then immediately run off trying to track the scent of upset omega I looking all over the school until I finally end up finding him.
