Ch 2

(Minho's Pov)

Watching the boy who's my partner run off I get up grabbing the book and put it in my bag before I leave the classroom and head to my locker I noticing my friends hanging around since their lockers are also by mine. Once I make it to my locker I can't help but to think back on the boy who was assigned to be my partner I having not really noticed him before. "Hey Minho how was literature class?" I open my locker grabbing my books for my next class then close the door and turn to Chan. "I got assigned to be partners with a Kim AJ for a project. I've never really seen him around before." The others give me curious looks Chan giving a little hum. "I think he's in my maths class. He's always in the front but keeps to himself. I don't think he's presented yet either." I blink and frown slightly. "Well he seems to be a really meek person. Almost like he's scared of everything and everyone. Do you know anything about him hyung?" Chan shakes his head no. "Not really. Like I said he usually keeps to himself." My frown deepens but I nod and excuse myself to head to my next class before I'm late.

(AJ's Pov)

Sitting in my last class of the day which is biology I stare out the window bored when suddenly a slightly unpleasant smell of sour apple gets closer. Recognizing the scent I immediately sigh and slowly turn to see a girl storming towards me her skirt a little shorter than its supposed to be and her top buttons undone to reveal a bit of her cleavage. The girls name is Euna and she's one of the most popular and richest kids in school. She's an omega but acts high and mighty and is always bullying me. "Hey Kim I heard you were assigned to be Lee Minho's partner. I don't want you to get close to him period. He's mine." I frown slightly the only thing going through my head is that if he hasn't noticed or taken interest in her scent before it definitely won't happen now. But instead I just say softly. "He's just my assignment partner I don't plan on getting close to him." She sneers at me. "You better not or I'll make your life a living nightmare. Besides he wouldn't want a freak who hasn't even presented yet." I flinch slightly but give a little nod I watching Euna smirk before she storms off to a seat I sighing and start taking out paper and a pen for notes. As I focus on taking notes I'm immediately relieved when the bell rings signaling the end of the day. I quickly gather my notes and things packing them away safely in my satchel before I get up and head to the front doors I starting to make my way outside when I'm suddenly roughly grabbed by my arm making me wince at the tight grip and I'm dragged behind the school I cringing when I see an alpha named Dongyul who's Euna's brother along with his friends. "Hey freak. We heard from Euna that you're partnered up with Lee Minho and might be interested in him." I immediately frown and say in denial. "I'm not! I told her I'd stay away!" Suddenly I'm punched hard making me whimper in pain. "Shut it you don't talk back to us." I whimper an apology holding the side of my face. I'm then given a stern look. "You better keep away from Minho because Euna doesn't want you around him. And if Euna isn't happy then I'm not happy." I lower my head pitifully and give a quiet "I'll just get the project done and stay away from him period." They all nod in approval then tell me to leave I quickly rushing off and head home where I go to look for something to eat. As I look through the different cabinets I don't find anything that looks good so I grab the money my parents left and head out to a convenience store. As I walk into the store I look around for ramen I finally finding the kind I want only to frown when I see it's on a higher shelf that I can't reach. Huffing I try to reach for it on my tip toes then try to jump for it only to epically fail. I try again when suddenly a hand reaches over mine and grabs the pack I turning around curiously only to freeze when I see Minho. I swallow nervously looking around before mumbling softly when he hands the pack over to me. "Thanks." He seems to stare at me giving a slight concerned look. "Why do you have a black eye?" My hand goes up to my face I silently cursing because I didn't think to check for a black eye after Dongyul punched me. "Oh I uh I ran into a doorway." He raises an eyebrow at me. "Really? That's the best excuse you had?" I cringe and say simply. "What? I'm a clumsy person. Now if you excuse me I'll get going." I go to bypass him when he suddenly grabs my arm making me flinch away he quickly letting go looking concerned. "I'm not going to hurt you." I shake my head and quickly speed walk away going to pay for my ramen and then rush home where I eat, do my homework then fall asleep.
