Ch 6

The next morning I wake up to my alarm like usual and get up going to put my uniform on I heading downstairs after brushing my hair and teeth I adjusting my glasses in the process. I then walk into the kitchen greeting my parents softly I a little surprised to have a plate of bacon and eggs set in front of me I looking up in shock. "Consider it an apology for not noticing that you were miserable." I immediately frown. "You don't have to apologize I'm the one who hid it from you guys." My dad immediately waves me off. "Well go on and eat. Are you sure you want to go to school today?" I give them a reassuring smile. "I'm positive. But do you mind if Minho comes over to help work on our project?  We'll stay in the living room." They both look at each other before looking back at me. "Sure do you want us to pick you guys up?" I shake my head no. "We'll walk don't worry." They nod then I'm ushered to eat I eating happily then am rushed into the car where we drive to the school I reluctantly leading my parents to the office before I start to go to my locker I immediately confused when I see Minho standing there staring at the multiple notes and papers with harsh words and hate filled sentences covering the entire locker. I cautiously make my way over saying softly. "You alright there?" He slowly turns to me with a frown. "Does this happen every day? All these hateful and harsh words posted to your locker?" I nod as I start taking them down. "Yeah every day is the same." He shakes his head then looks down at me. "Why wouldn't you let me tell your parents about Euna yesterday?" I sigh adjusting my glasses. "Because I didn't want them knowing but they found out anyways. They're a little upset I didn't tell them when the bullying first started at thirteen and they went to have a word with the principal." He gives me a reassuring smile. "That's good though maybe the principal will finally do something." I shake my head and quickly change the subject. "Hey do you wanna come over to discuss the book and start the report?" He looks surprised but nods giving a little smile. "Of course. I'll pick you up from your last class after school and we'll head out." I nod and grab my literature stuff closing my locker before walking to class Minho immediately following me. "Why don't you join me and the others for lunch?" I pause and look at him wide eyed. "Um no thank you I'd rather stick with having my lunch in the garden alone." He tilts his head a bit before asking softly my stomach twisting a little I feeling weird. "Do you mind if I join you then?" I blink feeling my cheeks tint pink but I say softly. "No I don't mind. Meet me at my locker when it's lunch." He nods and we enter the literature classroom taking our seats and focus on taking notes about the things we'll need to include in our report. Once class is over I part ways from Minho and head to maths where I take my usual seat Chan sitting in the chair beside my spot. Sighing I take a seat before saying simply. "Hello hyung." He looks at me with a smile and wishes me a hello back. "How are you feeling today?" I'm quiet before I say honestly. "I'm okay. My parents found out about the bullying and went to speak to the principal about it and then Minho's coming over to do our report later." Chan looks at me curiously. "You two seem to be awfully close." I shrug. "Not really but I appreciate him looking out for me." Chan slowly nods then we both focus on class taking notes until the bell rings. I get up and pack up my things before heading for the door only to be surprised when I see Minho standing near the doorway he giving me a little smile I feeling my cheeks heat up a little as I head towards him. "Hey you ready to eat lunch?" I give a little nod and Chan soon approaches us looking curious. "Is AJ joining us for lunch today?" I shift a little as Minho says simply. "Actually we're going to go eat together somewhere more private." I see Chan raising an eyebrow at us but he nods and says he'll see us later as he walks off. I look back at Minho saying a little softly. "You can go ahead and go get some lunch and I'll wait for you outside the cafeteria." He frowns a little at me. "Aren't you going to eat?" I grimace and shake my head no. "I never enter the cafeteria. I usually end up tripped or my food knocked out of my hands. Now let's go." He slowly nods and we head to the cafeteria he entering and I wait outside shifting a little nervously. After waiting a while I see Minho coming towards me with two trays of food I blinking a little when he hands me one. "Here I got you some food. Now lead the way." I get this weird feeling in my chest and stomach but nod and lead him to the little garden the school has. I take a seat on the soft grass and Minho sits beside me we starting to eat and chat about our lives. "So you moved here at thirteen right? And you said the bullying has always been this bad?" I nod making a face. "Yeah especially when everyone started presenting and I didn't. I'm starting to wonder if something's wrong with me." He gives me a little sympathetic look. "I'm sure nothings wrong with you. You might just be a late bloomer." I sigh adjusting my glasses and change the subject. "What about you? The rumor is that you and your friends are in a gang. I'm guessing that's not true though." He chuckles in amusement. "No that's not true. We just like to keep to ourselves and don't like it when people only want to be our friends for popularity or because of our looks." I nod in understanding. We then continue to chat about things until it's time for lunch to end we reluctantly getting up and head back to the cafeteria Minho getting my tray and goes to put them away. We then part ways to head to our classes I a little anxious but excited for the day to end.
