IT'S MY FUCKING BIRTHDAY
Percy walked down the spiral stairs with his eyes half open and still half asleep to see all the gryfindors looking at a piece of paper. He saw Harry and Ron in the corner and Layla with a few other girls close to them.
"Hey Perce," Harry said "Wait can I call you that?
"yeuh" Percy yawned out
"So what's so great about these papers, everyone seems so interested in them?" Percy asked
"Oh, it's just our school schedules like our class" Ron replied "This one is yours," he said handing Percy the slip of paper
Percy looked at it he couldn't read a thing on it gosh this is annoying, after staring at it forever he still couldn't read any words they all looked like jumbly.
"So what class do you have?" Harry asked with Ron looking straight at Percy
"Um uh I can't read it, I have dyslexia," Percy said stuttering like Nevile. Percy wasn't embarrassed about having it's he didn't like telling people about it.
"Huh, really what's that?" Harry asked confused
"Yeah what is that" Layla said entering the conversation
"Hello to you too," Percy said to Layla "Uh well it makes it hard to read English and also to spell I suck at anything related to that," Percy said to the four of them
He wondered if he should tell them that his brain is hard-wired as Annabeth puts it to read ancient Greek instead of modern English, but that would probably need more explaining and it was way too early for that. He hasn't even had his second or first breakfast yet.
"That's cool I guess, here give me your schedule ill read it for you," Layla said putting out her hand
Percy gave her his schedule "It's not cool it sucks, oh and just so you guys know I also have crazy ADHD, though I do have one friend who got it way worse." Percy said thinking about Leo
"Alright so on Red Days you have Defence Against the Dark Arts, History of Magic, Herbology, and Astronomy, on Gold Days you have Study Hall, Charms, Potions, and Transfiguration," Layla said
"What are Red and Gold Days," Percy asked
Harry spoke "Well we have Red and Gold Days cause we're in Gryffindor, I think the other house have their days with other house colors, and also today is a Red day tomorrow is a Gold day, they alternate each other.
"Alright, that makes sense," Persy said that would hopefully be easy to learn and keep track of his classes.
"So what classes do I go with you guys?"
Layla said, "We have DADA, which is sort for Defence Against the Dark Arts and Herbology together, on Gold we have uh let's see, Potions and Transfiguration, oh and all of us have study hall together."
"Well somehow Ron and I have the exact same classes so, we only have History of Magic together, and with Layla we have Astronomy," Harry said
"Wow that's interesting I also have the same classes as you Harry, "said the girl with crazy brown hair
"Also me too," Ron said under his breath
"Oh I haven't introduced you guys to her, this is Hermione Granger," Layal said putting her hand on Hermione's shoulder
"Hi that's me, I know you Percy Jackson, and you to Harry Potter, but not you what is your name?"
"Ron, Ron Weasly"
"Nice to meet you, we should get going breakfast is going to start soon," Hermione said while turning around towards the door
Percy couldn't wait to eat "Yeah let's go I'm starving"
"Same" someone said from behind probably Ron
So far this school has been cool he wanted to learn about this and already made some cool friends, so maybe this quest wouldn't be so bad.
