"Listen up people" Trea shouted at the top of her lungs. Everyone in the class turned to look at her "A word from your co-director's".

Mrs Canon cut her off "director, directors assistant".

"Tonight, is the most important night of your life's" Trea continued.

"I wouldn't say that."

"So, let's make sure none of you idiots like... totally stuff it up" Trea snarled.

"Trea.." Mrs Canon gasped "what a terrible use of gramma, I expected more of you. I thought I taught you to use less "likes" in your sentences." Trea glared at Mrs Canon.

"This is going to be a nightmare" Friday whispered to Melanie, who didn't here her because it was she was asleep. Friday wasn't sure how she managed to sleep when Trea projected her voice like a foghorn.

"Mrs Canon made a huge mistake making her co-director" someone said from behind her making her jump, it was Ian she hadn't noticed him because he was wearing all black.

"What's with the outfit" Friday said trying to act as if he hadn't scared her half to death.

"I'm a technician, we have to wear all black to fit in to the darkness of the theater." He said moving into the seat in front of him.

Back to current time.

"Wait, why didn't you know Dad was a technician, if this play included all of year 8" Leo asked.

"I had been away for a couple of weeks because she caught the chickenpox and had to stay in isolation. So, I had no idea of what anyone was doing in the play" Friday said, then continued on with the story.

"A job that includes you getting ignored by everyone that's not really your forte" Friday scoffed.

"Yeah, you should sign up you'd be a natural" Ian retorted.

"Okay, I'm waking up to hear this" Melanie said her eyes popping open.

"Hmm... maybe I should, quote Trea "make sure you like... totally stuff it up" Friday said, doing a surprisingly accurate impression of Trea. Ian was about to send back a smart response when Mrs Canon butted in to the conversation "What an excellent idea Friday, you and Wainscott  would make a perfect team."

"oh, no I didn't mean..." Friday stuttered.

"Uh, uh, uh say no more you two are working together" Mrs Canon said.
