Marcus walked down the hall and noticed the drawing. He noticed two girls close to each other. Then the next one showing them being separated. One was married to the now King and the other is the dragon queen. Marcus realized that Lita and the Queen were close to each other. That is why the Queen took interest in Bayley. She realized that Bayley was Lita daughter. Dean had told him the Queen was concerned about Bayley and wanted to get her a new dress. Marcus knew the Queen had a big heart but it made him wonder what she really knew about Lita.

Marcus hoped that this wouldn't be a problem he had would worry about that down the road. He knew he was taking a risk having Bayley accompanying them to Dean ceremony. Bayley never seemed to mind staying home. It usually gave Becky a reason to stay behind as well. Since that training day, Bayley has been quiet and keeping more to herself. She still did all her chores and continued her studies. More Marcus thought about it, it was a way for Bayley to tired herself out. Marcus kept looking at the drawing on the walls. The drawing showed the birth of Bayley and princess Sasha.

The wall told the story of what's to come. One drawing show a person being wiped and another protecting that person. Marcus wonder if upcoming events could cause this to happen. Marcus knew he would have to keep a closer eye on Bayley to protect her from this happening. Marcus looked at his niece sleeping in the corner. "How am I going to protect you?" Marcus asked a sleeping Bayley.

Marcus was about to wake up Bayley when someone spoke to him. "How much I want you to wake her please don't. I know she has a lot of questions and I'm not sure how to answer her." The Queen mother said. "My Queen mother, how are you here?" Marcus asked. "I can come here without it being a full moon and I seen Bayley enter the cave. I've been watching her look through all the books. I'm not sure if Lita told her I was still around." The Queen mother said. "Bayley knows you're still alive and she has asked about you. I know she has asked why you haven't come to see her. I know she would love to meet you." Marcus said.

"I'm sure she would but for now it best I keep my distance. I don't want to upset Lita. If the painting on the walls are right are young dragon can be in danger. What do you plan to do to protect her?" Queen mother asked. "I will have a plan in place to protect Bayley. I don't want to keep her in the house. Bayley needs to be allowed to go out and about. I will make sure she is with one of us all the time. Before you say it, I know she left on her own to come here. We didn't have any clue she would leave on her own. This was not like her at all but something is bothering her." Marcus said.

"Follow me please, the painting point to the king daughter being with Bayley. Bayley could have found her mate and probably feeling the pull to her. It's probably confusing her that she has feelings for the king daughter. You know how that feels when you find the person you're supposed to be with. Then you have the prophesy, you know what it states. Bayley is bond to the princess. I'm assuming she is confused about how she is feeling. The pull to the princess will only get stronger if they are apart too long. If the painting is correct, they will bring peace to all the lands." The Queen mother said.

Marcus knew the Queen mother was right but he would rather have Bayley tell him herself. "Well, I will have to put a plan in place to protect them. We can't afford for the king to find out his daughter is gifted and then he would find out about Bayley power. How much they need to stay together, it wouldn't be safe for them. So, I will have to figure something out. I don't want Bayley under the watchful eye of the king." Marcus told the Queen Mother.

The Queen mother had other plans and needs some help with her plans for her granddaughter. The Queen mother wanted to bring down the King for the pain his family has brought to her family. The Queen mother seen Marcus getting in the way of things moving forward. If he keeps Bayley and the princess apart it could be a problem. The Queen mother needed to get a move on. "Well, I wish you and Bayley safe travels home. I need to get back to the kingdom." The Queen mother said.

Marcus watch the Queen Mother walk over to Bayley before leaving. Marcus decided it was time to wake up Bayley so they could get on the road. He didn't want to be gone too long and didn't want the King to treat Dean bad. Plus, he knew Summer would be flipping out if they weren't back tonight. Marcus went to Bayley and shook her wake. "Little one, you need to wake-up." Marcus said. After a few minutes Bayley started to wake up.

"Hello Sir, I'm sorry I fell asleep. I was planning to be back but I got sleepy and laid down." Bayley said getting up. Marcus watched as Bayley put books in her bag. Marcus needs to know what was going on with Bayley. "Bayley, why did you come here for?" The general asked. "I came to the dragon caves to get a book." Bayley said. The General could tell this was important to Bayley to make this trip. "You know I don't like you going on your own? Why didn't you tell me and we could have come here together?" The General asked. "I wasn't sure you have the time to go? I know you're busy with the king." Bayley said. "Bayley you are more important to me than the king and if you need to come up here I want to be the one to take you." The general said.

"Thank you Sir, I just don't want to be a bother. Plus, I really was planning on being back sooner than later. I just didn't realize how drained I was." Bayley said. Marcus wanted to finish this talk but figured they could finish it at home. Marcus didn't like the fact Bayley kept calling him sir. "Bayley why do you keep calling me sir for?" The general asked. Bayley didn't know how to answer her uncle. "Bayley, I know what the princess said must have hurt you. I know I came off not caring about you but you mean the world to me just like Becky does. You know I have to protect you but I've always felt like you were my daughter." The General said.

Bayley wasn't sure what to say but knew it was best to be honest about how she felt at the moment. "Thank you, it means a lot. I do feel the princess is right about me. I'm an orphan in away, yes you and aunt Summer took me in but you didn't have to. I don't get why my mom and dad didn't take me with them. I know they come each month to see me but why couldn't I stay with them. It doesn't make sense to leave me behind. I just don't understand why they didn't want me. Then I feel this pull to the princess and that confuses me." Bayley said sadly.

"Bayley, your parents didn't want to leave you behind. But your father felt you would be safer staying with us. Your mother hated the fact she had to leave you as well. She wanted to be the one that raised you. She put up a good fight with your father about it." Marcus said. Marcus knew right away he said the wrong thing to Bayley. A sadness fell over Bayley face.
