Anvi and Yashi had been friends since childhood, but there was another important figure in Anvi's life—Abhay, her best friend and secret crush. Anvi's feelings for him started when she was barely old enough to understand what a crush was. Yashi knew about Anvi's feelings, but when Anvi finally confessed, Abhay let her down gently, saying he was interested in someone else. Despite the disappointment, Anvi valued their friendship too much to let it falter. She never wanted to lose a bond built over years of shared memories.

Anvi was a deeply sensitive person, practical but emotionally guarded. She didn't believe in love's fairy-tale promise, yet each night, she would wish for a caring, charming person to fall for her. She knew it was selfish, but her feelings of being overlooked—whether by her siblings or her father's preferential treatment of her cousin—made her crave that special attention.

Her father's favoritism towards her cousin only deepened Anvi's insecurities. She often felt overshadowed, and it was clear that social status mattered more to him than his daughter's feelings. This pushed her into a guilt-driven cycle of running away from her own issues.

During her school years, Anvi's emotions were tangled up with her friendships. Abhay, who had always shown her care and kindness, became her anchor. She cherished their friendship, even though it remained platonic. Abhay's affection was evident, but it was strictly in the realm of friendship—something Anvi struggled to reconcile with her feelings.

When Abhay admitted he liked someone else, Anvi's heart was heavy. It hurt to feel that her place in his heart was just as a friend. Despite the pain, she withdrew from both Abhay and Yashi, pushing them away in her solitude. Yashi noticed the change and tried to reach out, but Anvi remained distant, lost in her own world of hurt.

Seeing Anvi's isolation, Abhay confided in Yashi, admitting that he knew about Anvi's feelings and was concerned. Yashi, understanding the depth of their friendship, stepped in to mend the rift, bringing Anvi back to their close-knit circle.

Anvi's sister, Manya, who knew of Abhay and Yashi's importance to Anvi, didn't hesitate to let Abhay into Anvi's room alone when he came to visit. Abhay, anxious and concerned, checked on Anvi with genuine care.

Abhay: "Anvi, you okay?"

Anvi: "Yeah, how come you're here?"

Abhay: "Can't I visit without notice?"

Anvi: "You can, always."

Abhay: "Anvi, we can still be friends, right? I don't want to lose you."

With a soft touch, Abhay cupped her face in his hands, his eyes glistening with unshed tears. Anvi leaned into his touch, realizing that even if their relationship couldn't be more than friends, she couldn't bear to lose his warmth and attention.

Anvi: "Of course, we can't break our friendship over mere attraction. I want us to stay together, with you always by my side."

Abhay chuckled, relieved and happy that Anvi was willing to keep their bond strong. It was not hard for her loved ones to convince her, but for others, she was often a tough nut to crack.

(Fast forward to the present......)

she was no more a welcoming person who easily used to get attached to everyone it was really hard to convince her sometimes. actually all the times😒😒

Anvi was eagerly anticipating Abhay's return from London after twelve long years. Yashi, who had never been fond of Abhay but tolerated him for Anvi's sake, invited him over, keeping Anvi's presence a secret.

As the doorbell rang, Anvi leapt from the couch, hiding in the kitchen to surprise Abhay. When Yashi opened the door, Abhay entered, greeted by Yashi with a quick side hug. He was handed a glass of water and settled in.

as Abhay was done drinking water someone came from behind covering his eyes

and ohh how much he missed her he quicky pulled her towards him and palming her cheeks he kissed her forehead and then both cheeks making her giggle  and took her into a tight bear hug and left only after she teased him saying she'll die if he'll hug her like this

Abhay- How are you mera bacha

Anvi - "How do I look?" she asked, feigning annoyance.

Abhay- "Awesome," he replied with a bright smile.

Anvi -"Then why ask?" she teased.

Abhay- "Aa... pardon, my lord," he said playfully.

Anvi- "Better," she said, satisfied.

Abhay, full of mischief, hugged her again, biting her cheek, which made Anvi cry out in mock pain, rubbing her cheek with a pout.

Anvi- aaah you monster

 Anvi: "Yes."

Abhay: "Really?" he asked, pretending to be shocked.

Anvi: "Yes."

Abhay started tickling her, making her laugh uncontrollably.

Abhay: "I'm a monster, huh? Let's see what this monster can do!"

Anvi: "No... nonono, Abhay, please... haha... sooooo... sorryyyyyy!" she pleaded between giggles.

Eventually, Abhay stopped, seeing Anvi panting with anger in her eyes. The three friends enjoyed a lively dinner, filled with their signature debates between Abhay and Yashi. For Anvi, this was a reminder of the cherished bond they all shared, despite the ups and downs of the past.
