Episode 10. If it's a precognitive dream, it's a nightmare

In my dream, I was standing on a large stage. The place looked like some kind of concert hall.

Below the stage, tens of thousands of people were raising their arms, waving glow sticks or displaying cheering messages on their cell phones.

It seemed like I was about to start performing in the middle of the stage.

Although you can't see their faces clearly, there were people on both sides playing instruments such as guitars and electric pianos.

When the accompaniment started, I got ready to sing, lifting the microphone to my mouth and following the beat as if it were a familiar song.

Then it was time to say the first syllable.

No words came out.

It wasn't because I didn't know the lyrics.

In my dream, I seemed to remember the lyrics better than anyone else. I was feeling and fully feeling the emotions of the person I had practiced over and over again.

However, no words came out.

The numerous spectators below the stage became increasingly cold. The instrumentalists stopped playing following instructions from the backstage staff.

Soon the stagehand came running out and asked me why, but I couldn't say anything. There was no problem with the microphone at all.

In the end, the performance was stopped, and countless reporters flocked to me, who was devastated.

“Mr. Shinyul! “I didn’t sing at the show. Please tell me why!”

“Why did you make that choice in front of so many fans? “Have you had a problem with your agency?”

“Has the disability you suffered from as a child returned?”

Soon, the dream screen changed quickly.

I was just sitting on the cliff on the coast, staring out at the sea at night.

And I think I had this thought.

'If I fall into the sea again, will you give me my voice back?'

The dream ends at that scene.

“Aaaah!!!”

I woke up screaming.

I looked around and there was no one. I had to take a while to remember where this place was.

5 years ago? It is his father's house.

No, not 5 years ago. This is the house I currently live in with my father.

'Why do I feel like I'm back in time 5 years ago?'

I guess it's because of a dream I had a little while ago. Thinking, I walked over to the water purifier and poured a cup of water.

Jump, jump, jump.

“Hehehe...”

After drinking a glass of cold water, I stood in front of the window.

Then I thought about the dream I had a little while ago.

'Has your voice been taken away again?'

I craned my neck out of inexplicable doubt.

"hmm! Hmm!”

And then he sang a verse of the song.

It was a song called Hyoin’s.

Suddenly that song came to mind.

“Wake me up. “Before the beautiful lights leave me.”

Although I had to sing in a lighter tone because my voice was locked, the song came out without a problem. To be more precise, it would be correct to say ‘the word got out’.
