Jihye once said something like that.

It seems like it hasn't been that long. Was it a little over a week ago?

“It’s a big problem... I won’t be able to practice properly if I do this...”

“What’s going on?”

"that is···."

The words of wisdom were as follows:

Soon, a festival was held at school, and Ji-hye decided to sing a duet with another boy, but the boy was so good at diving that there were rumors that he was considering dropping out.

However, Ji-hye had been practicing only for that duet song, and it was difficult to change to singing alone, so she did not know where to find a new male vocalist.

Suddenly, that memory came to mind and I thought of that.

'At the school festival, is it true that only people from that school can come out?'

I decided to ask Jihye.

I opened the messenger app and said a simple hello to Ji-hye, and she quickly responded. I immediately asked what I was curious about.

– Can’t you contact that friend yet?

– Yes... it's no news.

– Is this a school festival, and only students from that school can come out?

- huh? No, that's not necessarily the case, but kids from other schools come and perform special performances, but why?

– Can I replace the male vocalist?

- really···?

I sent a text message, worried that this request might be a deception, but unexpectedly, Jihye's response was very favorable.

- The preparation period may be a bit short, but Yul, you are good at this song and you are talented enough, so you will be able to do well in no time!

I only found out later, but the reason Jihye welcomed my request so much at that time was because she had recently had me in mind as a male vocalist.

Jihye has watched me sing in the practice room a few times.

I was worried about whether I would be able to do well in the public test.

However, the sight of me practicing an unknown song in the practice room gradually gave Jihye some confidence.

'Yul clearly has talent as a singer, and maybe he would do well in the currently vacant male vocal position...'

On the day of the public test, Jihye saw my singing and was convinced.

‘Yul might suit this song better than that boy.’

Since such feelings were already in Jihye's thoughts, my request could not help but be welcomed.

In the end, I accidentally - though I brought it on myself - ended up performing a duet song with Ji-hye at the festival.

In the meantime, my father and I looked for a new house.

It wasn't that small, but it wasn't without its inconveniences for a father and son to live together in a studio apartment.

We moved into a small apartment with two small rooms. The location was just a few blocks away from where I previously lived, so it was easy to move.

The bathtub in the new house was larger and deeper.

I got my own room, and I got a computer in my room. And I received various books and items from my home in Gangwon-do.

My mother said she was very happy to hear the news about me recently.
