I got up from my seat and walked slowly to the front of the stage.

So I came up on stage and stood in front of the standing microphone.

“Okay, let’s start by introducing the song we prepared.”

Teacher Yongjun Kim smiled brightly and said to me. I briefly made eye contact with the teacher and gave an awkward smile.

As I raise my head and look towards the front of the stage, I begin to see a slightly familiar face.

Jihye was looking at me with her hands clasped together, as if she was more nervous than me, and Seunghyun, who was sitting next to me, was watching me with a curious and playful face.

In another seat, Yeon-kyung and Yu-jin were sitting. Yu-jin was looking brightly in anticipation, and Yeon-kyung was crossing her legs as if she was waiting to see how well she would do.

“I will sing a song I wrote myself. “Someone else composed it.”

When I finished speaking and looked at Teacher Yongjun, he was looking at me with a smile as if to say, ‘That’s enough.’

The accompaniment was already prepared, and soon the music started playing and I started singing.

*

Everyone must have felt it at that moment.

““This is A.””

But most people probably thought the same thing.

““But who is he?””

Shinyul's singing was a unique voice that no one had ever heard before. It was difficult to find such cases not only at M Practical Music Academy, but also among singers who are currently active.

It wasn't just a matter of firm vocalization and accurate pitch. However, it was not unusual because it was a low-pitched voice. Such singers are widespread.

However, there was something clearly different about Shinyul's mid-low voice. When we say that most mid-low vocalists have what is commonly called a ‘cave voice’, we would probably think of a dark and murky voice.

But Shinyul’s voice was very clear. It was so clear that the emotions he put into his voice could be clearly seen. The lyrics of this song were even written by Shinyul himself.

With these elements coming together, Shinyul's appearance now singing on stage was beautiful and harmonious. The lyrics and voices blended together to create an inescapable harmony.

Most of the students gathered in the main performance room completely forgot about any evaluation and were mesmerized by the difference in talent. It wasn't just the students.

Employees from the administration, who had increased curiosity and suspicion about student Shinyul due to a recent internal meeting, also attended today's test. As they waited for Shinyul's turn, they were able to empathize with why teacher Yongjun Kim decided to work with this student.

“Is this really the skill of a student who has been singing for less than a month?”

“I’ve seen a lot of talented people, but this student is just overwhelming...”

“I shouldn’t let my son sing.”

Teachers Jun-Hyung Han and Yong-Jun Kim were sitting in the judges’ seats next to the stage, just looking at this with satisfaction.

Then, Teacher Junhyung Han asked Teacher Yongjun Kim in a whisper.

“Is that the song you said you were working on together this time?”
