Five years later

Alicia and Cordelia have been enjoying their simple life at the academy raising their sweet babies. The supreme, due to her strengthened relationship with Marie, managed to make a deal with Papa Legba. It surprised everyone that he wanted nothing more than the pleasure of seeing the family blossom. Despite his heartless persona, he cares a lot about family and children. He acted nonchalant about his actions, saying that he'll take it back if they tell anyone because they'll think he's gone soft.

In addition to his love for family, he also thought it'd be amusing to see Delia relearn magic all over again. That was the deal so she wouldn't fade; he took away her magic. However, she still had the innate ability so it would be possible for her to learn again. She didn't focus much on it the first two years after giving birth, mainly just sticking to teaching. Now that she has more time, since the triplets are becoming more independent, she's been brushing up on her skills.

She's been thinking about leaving all the magic behind, since she quite enjoys regular life, but practicing does make her happy. It's almost comforting that Alicia is, in a sense, more powerful than her now. It brings the blonde joy to see her wife showing their children little tricks and keeping them entertained. Alicia is just happy to pass on the legacy, always telling stories about Lia's days as supreme and how great of a leader she was.

Despite not holding that position anymore, it still makes the blonde blush hearing the praise from Alicia. All in all, their life has been filled to the brim with love and light as they watch their beautiful children grow each day. Delia has gotten the hang of juggling the three wild rugrats and in exchange, Alicia has taken on extra classes so the blonde can spend more time with them. Still, neither of them are too busy considering everything is in-house.

Today brings us to one of many sunny, borderline scorching, Louisiana summers. The heat is visible in the air, making shiny iridescent-like waves. Cordelia sits in a rocking chair on the porch facing the backyard, watching Alicia and their babies play around. The brunette uses her powers to twirl flowers around the three little ones as they giggle with glee. It's still hard for her to believe sometimes that they really did it, having two girls and one boy. It certainly hasn't been easy, but the sleepless nights were all worth it.

Their babies bring them both such immeasurable joy, they can't imagine how that ever lived without them. Cordelia ended up having one of the girls and honestly, it never mattered to her what the gender would be, she was just proud to have a child at all. Alicia grins as the children spin around in awe, their faces scrunched up due to their huge smiles. Of course they eventually get dizzy and suddenly all four of them are on the ground, the little rascals falling on top of their mama.

With barely a second to collect their bearings, they're all up again and running towards Cordelia. All of them stumble slightly, due to the after effects of spinning for so long, which causes both women to chuckle. Alicia raises with a grunt and slowly follows to join them over on the porch. By now, one of the girls and their son has crawled onto the oldest blonde's lap as she squeezes them tight making them groan playfully.

The other little girl leans against the railing with her arms crossed, seemingly trying to look intimidating. This is the oldest of the triplets in fact and despite them only being a few minutes apart, she certainly rubs it in. Delia's little girl is a few hours younger than the other two purely by chance and, again, they are all born on the same day but she fully embodies a younger sibling. "Turn that frown upside down, young lady" Alicia says to their oldest daughter who turns to her and fights a smile.

She's really the sweetest little thing, though she surely possesses the combined stubbornness of both her mothers. "Oh she definitely has your attitude" Cordelia says and Alicia narrows her eyes a bit, "my attitude? Honey, that's all you" the brunette counters. Of course it's all relative, nurture versus nature, but in this case Alicia is certain nurture has won. She may have pushed this one out, but she's almost a carbon copy of Cordelia — not that the brunette is complaining.
