A few weeks later

Daisy couldn't take it anymore. Being apart from Arthur was getting to her. She felt sad and miserable. How could her mother open this Pandora 's Box with the absurd accusation against Arthur? How could Mary Turner be so blind to Oliver's arrogant personality? Even if he was the last man on earth, Daisy still wouldn't marry him. He was a terrible man who felt that he was entitled because of his last name. He did say to Daisy on the night they met that he wanted a wife who will be submissive and won't have a terrible attitude. That's not a life Daisy wanted to live.

She's not denying the fact when she first met Arthur that he was perfect. He did annoy her with his confidence. He was cocky at times. He liked to use double entendres when he talked with her. He always smirked at her in the beginning when he knew that he had successfully managed to push her buttons. Arthur never demanded that she had to change her personality. He insisted that he didn't want her to change anything about herself. He never made her uncomfortable. He invited her to the Round Table Room which she knew was a room only for the knights and him. The biggest surprise from Arthur without a doubt was the courting. This did frighten Daisy in the beginning. How could a man she just met want to court her? She couldn't comprehend it at first. The gifts just kept appearing in her room. He was persistent. That was another characteristic which annoyed Daisy after she arrived at Camelot. Arthur just wouldn't give up when he did something. He was always so accommodating. On her first night at Camelot, Arthur had a room prepared for Daisy and didn't demand that she had to join him and his knights for dinner. She started to reminisce about being intimate with Arthur on the night she attempted to run away from him. That night had sealed Daisy's fate. Her life completely changed. She learned what it's like to love someone. She had sex for the first time. Initially she thought it would be an awkward experience due to her lack of experience. It was just the opposite. That night was an eye opening experience for Daisy. Arthur always treated her as an equal. He taught her useful skills. He made her feel safe. He was affectionate when they were intimate and also when they were not. Being apart from Arthur made Daisy realize just how much she misses him. Since she's been staying at her former home, she can't sleep. She feels uncomfortable. Daisy misses the bed she shares with Arthur. The joy she had is now gone. It's like it was sucked out of her on the day the Court arrested Arthur.

Daisy knew she had to find a way to see Arthur. Her soul wouldn't rest. She would have to sneak out in the evening when she's absolutely sure her parents were sound asleep. Daisy knew the longer she stayed in her parents' house, then the chance of Oliver showing up again seemed very likely. She had to see Arthur. That's all she wanted.

Daisy did the impossible. She managed to sneak out of the house and walk to the Londinium jail. She stepped into the foyer and pulled back the hood of her cloak. An old man is sitting on a chair and he is asleep. She knew there is only one way of waking him up.

Daisy grabbed a thick book and threw it on the desk. The man woke up. "Who did that?" He got startled and noticed a woman standing on the other side of the desk.

"Oh, good. You're awake." Daisy said.

"What do you want?" The man asked.

"I wish to visit a prisoner who is held in this jail." Daisy replied. "The prisoner is Arthur Pendragon."

"Visitations are not allowed at this time." The man said. "No one is allowed to visit him."

"Are you denying my request?" Daisy asked.

"Yes, I am. You cannot visit him." The man replied.

"I demand that you allow me to see him. " Daisy raised her voice.
