Arthur and two of his knights left early in the morning to have a meeting regarding the construction of a new inn. There would also be a town hall meeting with the citizens of Londinium. Arthur told Daisy he isn't sure what time he will return in the day. He also told her to enjoy the free time she will have today.

Daisy decided to go the library. When she stepped into the room, she couldn't help but recall what happened here. In this room she was attempting to teach Arthur the waltz and he flirted with her. When they danced together, her feelings for him intensified. Daisy tried to deny her attraction toward Arthur. After her almost escape from the castle, everything changed between them. She gave in to Arthur and they ended up sharing a passionate night together. It's a night Daisy still cannot forget. Arthur made her feel many emotions. Daisy also recalls how at times she had trouble paying attention to Arthur's feedback and suggestions during their last sword fighting lesson. She couldn't look at him the same way during the lesson after they had been intimate. During the lesson, Daisy remembered what Arthur's hands did to her body and also how his hands held her throughout the night. When they woke up this morning, Arthur's arms were wrapped around Daisy. That's when she realized how much she has started to like being in his arms. Arthur's arms provided comfort, warmth, and safety.

Daisy glance at the book titles on the shelves. She noticed there are many books about the history of Camelot. She pulled out one of the books and sat down on the couch to read. She read for almost an hour about the history of Camelot. She put the book on the shelf and decided to switch over to another genre. Instead of picking something fact filled, she settled with another mythical love story. After she read about Eros and Psyche, Daisy got hooked on myths. This time she is reading about Orpheus and Eurydice.

Orpheus was the most brilliant singer in ancient Greece. He was said to be the son of Calliope, the Muse of epic poetry. One day his wife Eurydice died because of a snake bite. Orpheus was so grief-stricken by the tragedy that he decided to risk his own life by journeying to the land of the dead to try and bring his wife back to the upper world. Orpheus used his incredible music ability to charm the boatman Charon into giving him a ferry ride across the river Styx. He also musically soothed the three-headed dog Cerberus to pass safely into Hades, the underworld. Hades, ruler of the underworld, and his wife Persephone were very surprised to see him. Orpheus begged them both to allow his wife, Eurydice, to come back to the land of the living. The God of the underworld was unwilling to allow it until Orpheus began to sing. Moved by the deeply emotional song, he granted Orpheus his wish under one strict condition. The condition being that he could never look back at Eurydice until both returned to the upper world. Orpheus was delighted and agreed, not realizing how difficult it would be. Eurydice didn't seem to make any sound during their return to the upper world. Orpheus knew he couldn't look back even though he was desperate to see Eurydice. As he approached the surface close to the light, Orpheus couldn't resist taking a glance back for a split second to make sure his wife would surface with him. The tragedy was that he saw her, but instead of taking the last few steps into the land of the living, she faded away and disappeared into the underworld forever. So close, yet so far.

After Daisy got done reading the myth, she thought about the conversation she and Arthur had about destiny. Was Eurydice cursed to not have the second chance to return to the land of the living? If Orpheus didn't turn around at the last second, could this have changed their end result? She thought about the choice she made of running away from home and ending up at Camelot. Could she really be married to someone like Oliver? Was the fortune teller right with her prediction about the rugged man who has a big heart and how he would change her life?
