After Arthur Pendragon defeated Vortigern, he reclaimed his rightful throne as the true king. He knights his friends and is now in charge of the kingdom. More than a year has passed and everyone seems to be focused on why the King still hasn't found...
Daisy waited until it was quiet. She heard Arthur shut his door. Half an hour had passed since he went to bed. Everyone is asleep. Daisy filled her satchel bag with clothes, bottles of water, and food that should last her for two days. She found out the next town is three miles away. She had to get away from Arthur. He got under her skin. It became too close for comfort. This is it. Now is the chance to make her escape. Daisy put on a cloak over her dress. She grabbed her bag and opened the door. She closed it and softly walked so her footsteps won't be heard.

She reached a door that led to the courtyard. Daisy opened it and stepped outside. She saw the steps that lead to the main path of the castle's entrance and began walking.
"Daisy!" She heard a voice shout from behind. She turned around and saw Arthur running down the steps. "What are you doing?" Arthur yelled and stepped in front of Daisy to block her path.

"What does it look like, Arthur? I'm leaving." Daisy harshly answered.
"Daisy, please don't leave." Arthur begged.
"I have to get out of here. I told you many times that I wouldn't stay here permanently. Please, let me leave." She stepped to the side and began to walk. Arthur quickly grabbed her arm and turned her around to face him. Daisy's eyes locked with his intense gaze. "Arthur, let me go." She raised her voice.
"No. You're not going anywhere." Arthur said. He stared at Daisy for a second. His eyes filled with disbelief, and he let out a massive heave, raking a hand through his hair. "Daisy, don't tell me we're back to this ridiculous explanation!" Arthur growled in pure frustration. "I'm sick of this game. Aren't you?"
Daisy shook her head. "There is no game, Arthur. This...us," she said, motioning between the two of them. "It can't happen. It's as simple as that. Let go of me." Daisy repeated.
"Why are you leaving in the middle of the night?" Arthur asked. "Why can't there be something between us?" He demanded. "Give me one good reason why not."
"I don't belong here. I have to go. I need to be on my own." Daisy answered. She couldn't say out loud the real reason. She needed to get away from him. "I feel intimidated being here. I'm not comfortable talking with some of your knights."
"You're talking blasphemy." Arthur said. "Don't go. I love you, Daisy."
