So basically it's og!Cale and he's blind. He super unhinged though because he can't be a trash really. People don't really know he's blind they just know he has some sort of disability (Eric, Amiru and Gilbert know though). Cale isn't allowed to leave the estate without at LEAST 50 guards and a member of the family accompanying him. Cale would naturally get really bored, and there is no one his age to hang out with because Eric and them are attending the academy. Cale obviously gets fed up and goes to Violan (because she actually holds the most power in the estate) to ask to attend the academy.
Cale: {i'm sooooo bored! I wish Amiru, Eric and Gilbert were here.. Maybe I should ask mother if I can attend the academy! But I need a really great reason though... whatever I'll think of one}
So Cale thinks of a couple reasons and then approaches Violan to try and convince her
Cale: *goes to Violan's office??? and knocks on her door*
Violan: Who is it?
Cale: It's me mother
Violan: Come in Cale.
Cale: *enters*
Violan: What is it you need?
Cale: Well... I've been thinking and you know how lonely I am because there is no one to hang out with?
Violan: Basen and Lily?
Cale: yeah they're great and all but there's no one my age.
Violan: ... continue.
Cale: Okay, so I've been thinking that maybe you could let me attend the academy, it-
Violan: No, no. Absolutely not.
Cale: But-
Violan: No buts, It's dangerous.
Cale: But I'm so lonley!
Violan: We can find you someone to hang out with.
Cale: Amiru, Eric, And Gilbert attend there!
Violan: They visit you sometimes.
Cale: Yeah, every once a month.
Violan: It doesn't change how dangerous it is.
Cale: Eric and them could protect me?
Violan: ... still risky.
Cale: Ron, Beacrox, and some guards could come with me?
Violan: ... I'll think about it...
Cale: *knowing that practically means yes* Yay! Thank you! I'm gonna go to my room now.
Violan: Very well.
So Cale leaves and Violan starts to write a letter.
Violan: *writes a letter first Eric saying 'Hypothetically, if I allowed Cale to attend the academy would you and the others make sure he is safe?' then sends it via mage to Eric's dorm*
In the academy
Eric: *returns to room and relaxes then notices a letter, opens it* {Countess Violan? It's rare to get letters from her.} *starts reading then jaw drops. He goes to share what the letter says with Amiru and Gilbert (they share a dorm)* GUYS!
Amiru: What is it Eric?
Eric: Read this!
Gilbert: ok.
A+G: *read then their jaws drop*
Amiru: No way.
Gilbert: I can't believe it
Eric: I know right?
Amiru: You should send a reply.
Eric: Oh! I almost forgot about that, thanks.
Amiru: You're welcome.
So Eric sends a reply basically stating that he would make sure Cale is safe at all times.
Violan then goes to Cale and tells him that he should get prepared
Violan: *recieves letter* hm.. *goes to Cale's room and knocks*
Cale: *opens door* Yes mother?
Violan: You'll attend in 2 weeks make sure you've got everything you need by then
Cale: Really? THANK YOU!! *hugs Violan*
Violan: *smiles a bit* You're welcome Cale.
Cale then gets Ron to prepare everything and get ready for the academy (Violan sent a confirmation letter to Eric and the others) he brings Hans, Ron, and Beacrox with him and he then sets off to the Academy.... in the next chapter!
