First Day ❤️

Chay's day was full of excitement. As today was the first day, all the professors coming to the lecture asked each student to introduce themselves. Then each professor introduced his subject. Among the candidates who applied for the post of class representative, Joe received the highest number of votes and was made the representative of his class. Joe asked Chay to apply for his assistant position but Chay turned him down because he was not comfortable interacting with so many people. Gradually, as the lectures progressed, Chay's acquaintances and friends with the new students increased. When there was time between the two lectures, Chay would turn around and talk to Joe, and sometimes Kim would join in. When they had their lunch break, they all went to the cafeteria. They were accompanied by Joe and the rest of his group of friends. The cafeteria tables were designed so that only six people could sit and eat at a time. So Joe and his friends decided to sit at another table and chose the side table where Chay was sitting. At Chay's table, everyone ordered their favorite dishes and when their order arrived, they started sharing and eating with each other. 

But Vin had ordered pulses which Chay didn't like so he was avoiding them. Kim immediately notices Chay's behavior so he asks Chay "Why aren't you eating the pulses that Vin ordered?" Even though Kim was sitting next to Chay, his focus was on talking to Prathi, so Chay was a bit shocked to see that Kim actually noticed Chay's behavior. Chay looked at Kim in shock. Now all eyes were on Chay and that made his face red with embarrassment. "I don't like pulses" Chay said quietly looking at his plate. There was a slight pout on his lips. "You need to eat all your vegetables for your health. Only then will you be somewhat healthy." Kim said explaining to Chay. His voice was like explaining to a small baby.

"But I don't like it," Chay whines. Kim was about to say something but before he could Joe said "Chay take this and try it, it tastes good." Joe handed his plate to Chay. This was unexpected to Chay so he hesitantly took Joe's plate and took a bite. Joe ordered rice and some vegetables which tasted great and Chay loved it. Chay handed Joe's plate back and after swallowing said "This vegetable tastes great. What vegetable is it?" "It's potato but they make it a little differently." Joe replied. 

"Tastes good" Chay said and looked at Kim. Kim was talking to Vin and Prathi was talking to someone on a call and asked that person to come to the cafeteria. After cutting the call Prathi looked near the entrance and a boy came in from there looking at him Prathi motioned him to come near their table. Approaching the table, the boy sat in the chair opposite Vin. "This is Shin I told you about in the morning" Prathi said introducing the new arrival. 

"Oh hii I'm Kim and this is Porchay" Kim said introducing himself and Chay as Chay had food in his mouth. Shin said hi to Kim and Chay and sat quietly. To Seeing him sitting quietly, Chay asked Shin, "Are you not going to eat?" "No, I don't want to, I have eaten from outside," Shin said. "He won't eat he'll be full of smoking" Vin taunted Shin. Hearing Vin's taunt, Shin glared at him but said nothing. After everyone had eaten, they all returned to their seats in the classroom. 

While sitting in the classroom, Chay saw Kim take out a small bottle from his bag and take two pills from it and put the bottle back in the bag. He wanted to ask Kim about the potion but before he could ask the professor came into class and decided to ask later. When all their lectures were over, they all decided to eat at a restaurant near the college. Chay invited Joe to join them but Joe refused to come as he had other plans with his friends.

After they finished eating at the restaurant, Chay watched again as Kim pulled the medicine bottle back out of his bag and took two pills. He wanted to ask Kim but Chay decided to keep quiet as Kim would feel uncomfortable asking in front of everyone. When both Kim and Chay are alone on the train, Chay decides to ask Kim about the medicine but he is a bit shy at first "Kim can I ask you something?" "Yes" said Kim. "I saw you taking medicine this afternoon after dinner and now in the evening after eating at the restaurant What are they about?" Chay asked. Hearing Chay's question, Kim's face showed a sign of thinking for a few seconds, and relief immediately appeared on his face. "Oh those pills, actually the doctor told me to take them because my head hurts so bad sometimes" replied Kim. Chay nodded in understanding and gave Kim a sweet smile, "I hope you get well soon." Seeing Chay's smile, Kim kept looking at him without batting an eyelid for some time. 

When Kim noticed that he was looking too much at Chay, he looked away and stammered "M-my s-station arrived I'm going bye. Go home and text me when you arrive." At first, Chay didn't understand anything, seeing Kim bewildered. Kim got off the train in a mess and Chay kept looking at him from behind. 

When the train doors closed, Chay's head lit up and he smiled a little. After reaching home, he texted Kim that he had reached home and asked if he reached home. After freshening up, Chay came out of his room and started helping his mother in chopping vegetables. While eating, Chay recounted the events of his first day of college to his parents. Seeing Chay happy, his father told him "I'm glad you were able to make so many new friends" and then they started eating their food. From their voice, they seemed to be happy.

After dinner, Chay returned to his room and checked his mobile, hoping for some reply from Kim. When he actually saw Kim's message, he smiled and sat on his bed, opening a chat with Kim. "Yep I got home and freshened up" was Kim's message an hour and a half ago. "Well, I just finished my meal" Chay replied and again sent a new message saying "Shall we go by the same train tomorrow?" Chay waited about five minutes for Kim's reply. But when he got no reply, he pouted and closed the chat and opened his social media account. 

In the account notification, five new people started following him and when he looked at who the account belonged to, it was none other than Shin, Vin, Prathi, Hali and Joe. Chay and Kim had already started following each other, so Chay followed the five in return. After following each other, Chay started looking at everyone's posts and while looking at the posts, he got a reply from Kim. He immediately closed his social media account and opened a chat with Kim. 

"Yes tomorrow also by the same train" was the reply from Kim. "Have you eaten?" Chay asked. "Yes, I saw your message late because I was eating," Kim replied. "Okay then see you tomorrow, good night" Chay messaged. "Good night, sweet dreams, take care ❤️" Kim immediately replied. Chay couldn't hold back his smile at the sight of the red heart and began to roll over, hitting his limbs on the bed.

Chay immediately stopped his crazy behavior and said to himself 'Better go to bed.' He switched off his mobile after turning on the alarm and slept soundly on the bed smiling...
