After a two-month summer break, Chay's second year of engineering began. As Kim woke up late in the morning, he was late to come and because he was going to miss his first lecture, Chay decided to go to college without waiting for Kim and let Kim know as well. When Chay reached the college, he found Hali already sitting in the classroom. Seeing her, Chay went near her and sat on the chair next to her. 

"How did you come earlier today?" Chay questioned her. "Nothing just" Hali said giving a smile to Chay. "Did you guys enjoy going to the water park?" Chay asked. A month before, on Kim's birthday, they had made plans to go to a water park. He also wanted to go with everyone but refused to go because his mother had a doctor's appointment.  Hali's expression immediately changed when asked about the water park. She turned to Chay and said "We had fun there, tried different rides. Only Kim and Prathi put me off a bit but enjoyed the rest." Hearing this Chay didn't understand so he asked "What did Kim and Prathi do to make your mood off?"

"As you ask" Hali said and added "Kim and Prathi were inseparable that day. Wherever we went, Kim and Prathi were in their own world and it was very strange to see Ki Shin and Vin started teasing them both. It's nothing. Kim is three years older than all of us and he's under treatment for depression." Chay didn't know anything about this so he couldn't feel anything but shock. Kim and Chay had become good friends in a year but Hearing this new information about Kim from Hali, Chay began to doubt his friendship with Kim, whether he really knows Kim.

"H-How did you figure all this out?" Chay asked stuttering. "Kim told us this himself. You may have also observed that after lunch he takes some kind of medicine so that day Shin asked him about that medicine and then Kim told all this." Upon hearing this, Chay remembered that he had once asked Kim and Kim had told him that it was headache medicine. But if what Hali said is true, then Kim must have lied to him. Chay wanted to ask more questions but then he saw Joe walk in with the door open and decided to keep quiet. 

"Hii Chay good morning" Joe greeted Chay with his usual enthusiasm. Seeing Joe's enthusiasm, Chay chuckled and said "Good morning to you too" Joe came and sat on the chair beside Chay and turned to Chay and said "You know today I came by train but while boarding the train a person pushed me and I fell down on the train. I was so scared that I sat down on the platform." Hearing him, Chay panicked and said "Are you okay? Are you hurt?" As he asked this, he carefully held Joe's forearm to see if he had any cuts or bruises. 

Joe blushed seeing Chay worry about him and said "I'm fine now just freaked out a while ago." Seeing that Joe was unhurt, Chay let go of Joe's hands, calmed down a bit himself and gave him a chocolate from his bag. "But why did you come by train today? You come by car, don't you? And why did you come alone? If you were going to travel for the first time, shouldn't you bring someone to accompany you" Chay said but the worry in his voice was evident. "I heard you guys travel by train and you seem to enjoy it so I wanted to try" Joe murmured in a small voice. His eyes were on his hands in his lap and a pout was on his lips. He was eating the chocolate that Chay gave him. Joe looked like a little baby who had been scolded by his mother.

Chay chuckled hearing Joe's reason and seeing his pout. "Then why don't you come with us? Kim and I will be with you" Chay said. "I'm sorry but I can't make it today because I already called my father and asked him to send the car." Joe said with an apologetic smile. Chay nodded in understanding.

Kim came to the second lecture with Prathi and Vin and sat in the row behind Chay. As usual, Shin bunked the lecture. Even though Chay hadn't looked back, he could tell that Kim and Prathi were talking to each other from time to time. Chay wanted to talk to Kim and waited until after college to do so. He wanted to confirm what Hali had told him. But he didn't want to make Kim uncomfortable by asking him all this directly, So Chay waits for the college to end but Chay notices that both Vin and Shin are teasing Prathi about Kim. Kim ignored the teasing of the two but Chay didn't react even though Kim realized that Chay had also seen their teasing.
