Chay has always admired Prathi, Vin and Shin's friendship as all three have been with each other since high school. They are always ready to help each other in any problem. Of the three, Shin is the richest, and that's why he smokes and drinks heavily. You could call him a spoiled brat. Shin didn't give up his habit even though Vin and Prathi told him to. Despite this Vin and Prathi always help him in his problems. Chay was always surprised to hear stories of their friendship. While Shin is the troublemaker in their group, Chay likes his good habit of helping his friends. 

At the same time Hali and Joe on the other side. Being the only girl in their group, Hali was taken care of by everyone, especially Vin and Shin as they both knew Hali from school. Even though Joe was the representative of his class, he behaved well with every classmate. As he was the most scholarly student in his class, his notes were referred by all the students. 

Although Chay's and Joe's circle of friends were different, they were both important links that brought the two groups together. Kim used to talk to Joe but somewhere in his behavior Chay felt that he was not comfortable talking to Joe. Kim seemed more comfortable with his group of friends. It's natural to care about each other's friends, but when Kim showed concern for Joe together with Chay, that concern felt forced it was evident in Kim's behavior. But maybe Chay was thinking too much or he was definitely misunderstood Kim's behavior.

Time was flying by and Chay's first year of engineering was coming to an end. Everything was going well. Kim and Chay were inseparable. The all of them would always be together and Chay wanted nothing more than that. He had found a good friends in the form of them . Both Kim and Chay used to come together while coming to college and used to go home together. Their chats were never ending. Chay was learning different things about his friends. As Prathi has only single mother. His first girlfriend cheated on him. He wants to complete his education and get a good job so that his mother can relax.

Vin has an older brother and the people in his household are old-fashioned. Some of its effect can be understood from Vin's behavior but mostly he is open minded and somewhat submissive that's why sometimes Chay teases him. Even though Hali's nature is straightforward, she feels it's okay to not talk about certain things which trigger her anger. As she is older than her sister, after completing her education, she wants to join the job and take responsibility of her younger sister and the household. She loves going out and shopping the most. If you ask her to go out instead of sitting in a lecture any time, she will be ready immediately.

Kim is the youngest of his siblings and everyone's favorite in the house. Although he has good relations with his relatives, he does not visit them much. Some things about Kim are mysterious to Chay and he is always curious to know them but if Kim is not comfortable to share those things then Chay is ready to wait for the day when Kim himself will share everything to him. Like Kim has some cut marks on his forearm. When Chay asked him, he said that the cat clawed him. Once there was a joke going on in their project's chat group and a classmate sent a fan hanging dog meme and Kim was so panicked that he begged Chay to delete the meme.  Later, when Kim calmed down and Chay asked him why he panicked, he said that he had a dog that died and that's why he panicked after seeing the dog meme.  He believed everything Kim told him because he saw no reason for Kim to lie to him. But he was feeling somewhat unsettled by Kim's answer but decided to ignore it after a while because he believed that he would get answers to his questions when the time was right. 

Joe is also rich as well as an only child and pampered by his parents. His father is a businessman and sometimes his mother helps him in his work. Joe's dream is to go abroad for higher education and then help his father in business. His father's company works for T-Group and all these college campuses also come under the same T-Group.

Whenever their group went out anywhere, Kim would pay special attention to Chay because Chay hadn't been out much and he would avoid going out because of his problems finding direction So Kim used to guide Chay.

A total of three batches of his class were conducted for the lab in which the students were divided into parallel sections. According to those batches, his friends were divided into Shin in the first batch, Prathi and Kim in the second batch and Chay himself, Joe, Vin and Hali in the third batch. But still sometimes they would bunk the lab and pass the time by sitting in the cafeteria or sitting in an empty classroom.

Chay had a special bonding with Kim. Chay used to be shy around other people but when he was with his friends he was talkative and always had a smile on his face. Chay was the smartest in his group. He had a high ability to absorb whatever knowledge the professor would teach during the lectures, so he did not need to study much during the exams, so he would help his friends study from time to time and he was happy that he could help his friends.

Occasionally Kim would bring home-made leafy vegetables tiffin for Chay from his house as Chay loved leafy greens among all the vegetables and he was reluctant to eat other vegetables, so Kim always advised him to eat all the vegetables for his health. But Chay was ignoring Kim's advice with a sweet smile saying "I eat the rest of the vegetables too". Just as Kim had a point to advise Chay, Chay also had a point to advise Kim because even though Kim brought home-made vegetables for Chay, he never ate the vegetables himself. So whenever they started talking about this topic, Chay would advise to Kim about eating leafy vegetables and Kim would advise to Chay about eating the rest of the vegetables. 

Their bickering was never-ending so none of their friends interfered but their bickering would last for two minutes at most and then be forgotten. The important thing in all this was that Chay was thoroughly enjoying his college life with his friends.
