CHAPTER 16

SHANE POV

I didn't expect him to be this romantic. The song, the set up and the slow dance, I'll never forget this day.

Hearing him say I love you is like a music to my ears that I will never get tired to listen to.

Napatigil kame when someone called me from my phone, I told him to stay still, and kiss him before I rush to get my phone and checked the screen, it's Mom.

I answered it and when back to Henry.

"Good morning, Mom! Napatawag ka? Kumusta?"

"Anak, have you heard the news? The lockdown is lifted na. You can go home here" My Mom enthusiastically said

My jaw drop hearing it and I looked at Henry who seems to not be surprised hearing it

"Really? I can go home now?! That's a great news Mom! Miss na miss kona kayo dyan! Huhu" I said

Me and mom share our excitement about it. But I told mom that I'll be ending the call when I notice that Henry seems to be not happy about it.

HENRY POV

"I can go home now" hearing it from him makes me feel sad, He will leave me. I know that I should be happy for him kase the lockdown is already lifted and he can go home to his family and I can go home to mine. But I can't seem to be happy about it.

Maybe because mag hihiwalay na kame after a long time being together. I'm used to him, to his presence, voice, smell and the little things that he do.

He makes me excited to wake up every morning just to see him.

Am I toxic and selfish for wishing na sana, he'll just stay here with me?

Napadabog kong naisara yung cabinet ko while thinking about it.

"May problema ba?" Shane asked

"Wala" I said

He hold my hand and asked me again. I look at him and down to his hand

"I said, Wala" at napadabog kong binitawan ang kamay niya at patuloy na nag suot ng damit

"Eh ayon naman pala e? Then why are you acting like that, Henry? Why are you so upset?" He said but he remained calm

"Wala naman ring kwento kung sasabihin ko sayo" I said

"Aalis ka rin naman diba?" I added, Damn it. I look and sound so immature saying this thing.

"Iiwan mo rin ako" I said

"No, No Henry. I'll never leave you. Yeah, I'll be going home sa amin but it doesn't me I'll leave you. Why are you saying that?" He said

I clenched my jaw and look at him.

"Cause I want you to stay with me. To stay within my reach. To live with me, I know I'm crazy to ask this but would you like to live with me, Shane?" I let it out

He looked shocked hearing what I said.

"Yo- you want me to live with you?" He asked

"More than anything" I replied

"Wait lang, strict si Mommy at saka bawal pa daw ako mag boyfriend sabi ni Daddy, kase he don't wanna see me cry over a man, Di ko na makikita sila Kuya Gian and Kuya Anthony" He explained to me, he look like a kid so worried and don't know what to do

I laughed and hold his face "We'll make it work out, mapapapayag natin sila Tita at Tito. All I want to know now is if Yes or No? Do you want to live with me as well, Shane?"
