Chapter 17

Sonic's P.O.V

“Oh and who do we have here?~” Scourge asked as he stood up

Shadow growled a deep growl as he stood in front of me. I was too scared to move so I stayed behind him.

“STAY AWAY FROM MY MATE AND CHILD!” Shadow warned

“Oh!~ So big blue is pregnant~ Don't mind if he carries my pup~” Scourge purred

“LAY ONE HAND ON HIM AND YOUR DEAD!” Shadow growled

I jumped as I wanted to run off but knew I couldn't “Umm… maybe-”

“No! You will stay behind me until this freak of nature leaves!” Shadow demanded cutting me off

“Hey!” Scourge replied “rude” he added

I huffed and just stayed silent as I twitched my ears when I noticed that someone was taking video…

This didn't look good…. Even when the village still wanted Shadow…. Dead…

“Fine I'll go! But I'll be back for him!” Scourge said as he ran off

Shadow watched Scourge run away before turning to me “Are you ok?” He asked

I nodded “yes… I'm OK but we should head home. You don't look so good” I told Shadow, taking his hand and heading home. Shadow followed me.

Once we got home I released Shadow's grip and entered the house “Ok you go clean up and I will make you something to eat”

“Love you need to rest… you're pregnant… you should be sitting down” Shadow said

“I know but you need to be taken care of” I told him while going to the kitchen.

I watched as Shadow went to clean up as I started to make him food.. I know I wasn't good at cooking so I just made him 2 sandwiches with some chips.

A few minutes later Shadow came out of the bathroom and sat down on the couch.

I gave Shadow his food and sat next to him. I wasn't mad at Shadow even though he left me. I was just glad to have him back in my life once more.

“Why don't we watch a movie? There is this good one I saw that I wanted to watch with you” I suggested

“Sure we can watch a movie” Shadow said as he turned on the TV as it was on the news. Shadow was about to change the channel but stopped when he heard his name.

“Hmm?” I hummed and looked at the TV while watching what they had to say about Shadow…

“Shadow The Hedgehog was spotted in an alleyway and it looked like he was protecting a pregnant person from an attack?… That's right Shadow did something good! Could this be a new chapter in his life to where he is less of a threat?.... wait there is more as I was just told that the pregnant person was none other than Sonic The Hedgehog! That's right Shadow had protected Sonic who is pregnant from this attacker! Will this here change thoughts on them both? Or will they stay the same? Stay tuned to hear more” The News Lady said

Shadow turned off the TV. I looked at him “You ok love?”

“Some see me as a Hero?” Shadow asked in a low voice as he looked at the tuned off TV
