Okay I know this is coming out just after I posted the last chapter of first year but it means you can find out some things about second year before it comes out.
In terms of Y/n and Harry's relationship, they are still only friends, but they will get closer with each other the feeling don't come in until third year and then it will be more fun to read and write it.
Second year will be based off of the books and movies, some more development of Y/n's non-verbal magic, and maybe some new powers? Who knows. No seriously who knows cause I don't. There will definitely be more Y/n and Hermione moments before they go back to hogwarts and at hogwarts cause we love that they're best friends, although Y/n is also Harry's best friend.
