"Hey Potter, the dementors are coming." Pansy yelled across the hall. All the Slytherins responded with 'wooooooo'.
"Just ignore them Harry." Y/n said.
"New third year schedules." George said sitting down and handing them out.
"What's up with you Harry?" Fred asked.
"Malfoy." Ron responded.
"Little git wasn't so cocky when the dementors were at our end of the train. Came running into our compartment." George said.
"Reckon he nearly wet himself." Fred added.
"Nasty things they are dementors." George said.
"Sort of freeze your insides." Fred continued.
"You didn't pass out though did you?" Harry said glumly.
"We'll get to see how happy Malfoy looks after Gryffindor vs Slytherin. First game of the season remember." George said.
"We're starting new subjects today." Hermione exclaimed reading her schedule.
"Hermione they've messed up your schedule. You've got ten subjects today there isn't enough time." Ron reading her schedule.
"I've fixed it all with Professor McGonagall it's fine."
"But look. You've got Divination, Muggle Studies and Arithmancy all at 9 o'clock. How are you supposed to have 3 classes at once?" Ron explained.
"Don't be silly Ron of course I won't be in 3 classes at once."
"But-"
"Drop it Ron." Y/n said.
"We'd better go anyway. Divination is at the top of the north tower." Harry said.
They headed to the north tower and climbed the many stairs before they found out they'd have to climb a ladder next.
"I'm already done with this subject and I haven't even started it." Y/n exclaimed.
"You can't skip class on the first day Y/n." Hermione said.
"Why?" She complained.
"Because you have to make a good first impression."
"Not like the Professor isn't crazy anyway." Y/n muttered. Harry was the only one who heard her and had to suppress his laugh.
"Where is she?" Ron asked as they entered the classroom.
"Welcome everyone. So good to finally see you in the physical world at last." Said a voice coming out from behind a bookshelf. "Sit my children sit." She said gesturing to the armchairs around the room.
"This'll be fun." Y/n muttered sitting down.
"Welcome to Divination. I am Professor Trelawney, you may not have seen me before as I prefer not to come down into the busy hallways. I find it clouds my inner eye." She stated. "Divination is one of the hardest magical subjects to master. It is a gift granted to few, you boy." She said pointing to Neville walking towards him. "Is your grandmother well?"
"I think so." Neville responded.
"I wouldn't be so sure." She said. "We will be covering basic methods of divination. First term we will do tea leaves and for next term we shall begin palmistry. By the way my dear," She said to Parvati, "Beware of a red-haired man."
"Goodluck Ron." Y/n whispered.
"After palmistry we shall move on to the crystal ball only if we have finished fire omens. Unfortunately in February our classes will be interrupted by the flu and I myself will lose my voice. And around easter one of our number will leave us forever." She finished explaining.
