Part Eleven- #Sari?

Ari's POV

The next week at school was strange. People kept looking at me and Sean, whenever we met up. Lunch, classes, walking to and from school. It was weird.

Now being Friday, I had some time to do whatever I wanted over the weekend.

I called up Maddie, and she walked over to hang out.

We ended up just chilling in the basement with a movie playing, but we actually talked through the whole thing.

It was just random conversation, until she changed the subject.

"So, you and Sean?" She smirked.

I raised an eyebrow. "What does that mean?"

"You guys have grown awful close, are you together?" She gossiped.

My eyes grew. "What? No!" I defended. "Maddie, we are just friends. Where did you get this idea?" I asked.

She laughed. "You don't see it?"

"What don't I see?" I asked, apparently clueless.

"Everyone thinks you're dating!" She laughed. "I mean, you guys meet up whatever chance you get."

"Best friends can't do that?" I asked.

"Well, yeah, but I mean, the way you guys look at each other. I mean it looks magical. Like you're in love or something." She reasoned.

"One, I'm not in love with anyone. Two, we are not dating. And three, I can't date." I said.

She looked at me weirdly. "Why can't you date?" She asked.

I got quiet. "It's nothing."

"Really, why?"

"I said it's nothing. Can we change the subject?" I pleaded.

She sighed. "For the record, you guys would be an adorable couple." She said. "But yeah, how's the channel going?"

I smiled at the change of subjects. "Great. No ones discovered the channel, which makes me really happy. I like keeping it a secret, being public freaks me out." I babbled.

She smiled. "Yeah, we're pretty good at keeping the secrets. If people knew about our channels we'd either get made fun of or used to get quote on quote famous." She laughed.

"That's happened to me before, both of them. They both suck." I sighed.

"I'm sorry, Ar." She looked at me.

I shrugged. "Life isn't perfect."

"Changing subjects, I heard you and Sean went to his spot the other day." She raised an eyebrow.

I shook my head. "I know what you're thinking and no. We were bored at night and wanted to hang out. We ended up telling our life stories." I explained.

She made a face. "I thought I was your best friend, why don't I know your life story?" She asked.

I shrugged yet again. "It's not a story everyone wants to hear. Part of the reason I go by Daisy on my channel." I said to her.

"Oh." She said. "I get that." She nodded.

"I would tell you, but it's just, I don't think you want to hear it." I sighed.

"No, no it's fine. You don't have to tell me, I'm good." She smiled. "Subject change?"

I nodded and thought for a second. "Who are you into?" I raised an eyebrow this time.

"No one." She said.

"Come on, there's got to be someone." I smiled.

She shook her head. "No, like for real. I don't have any interest in anyone." She told me.

I nodded, not wanting to push her.

We ended up watching a random movie, and falling asleep.

I woke up to my phone blowing up. A ton of spam texts from everyone.

Zach-ary: WAKEY WAKEY

Seannnnn: GET UP

Leeeeeeaaaammm: ARIANA HELLLLLLOOOOOOO

Julioooo: get out of bed.

Porker. : ARI HEY ITS TIME TO WAKE UP

Jordanbayani: get the hell up thx

Dev-bae (his choice of name not mine): hello Ariana get up please.

TYBZORONI: oooooaaariiiiii hi

Willi shakes: we are spamming you bc we are all hanging out today do you and maddie want to come

I put them all into a group text.

Me: SHUT UP. Where are we meeting?

Zach-ary: we don't know yet we want food and friends.

Me: be over at mine in a half hour.

A bunch of 'ok's and 'yay's were sent. I woke Maddie up and told her to get ready, and that everyone was coming over.

Of course, dad wasn't home. He was at work. He has to work a lot, to keep us under a roof and fed. But somehow he manages to find time to spend with me. I love my dad a lot, and I'm lucky I have him.

After putting on day clothes, washing my face and brushing our teeth, almost a half hour had passed. And I swear, right as it hit thirty minutes there was a knock at the door. Course, they knew I had unlocked it, so they just walked in.

I heard Zach first. "ARI!" He yelled. "WE ARE INSIDE YOUR HOUSE."

I was at the top of the stairs. "Wow, thank you so much for keeping me updated." I smiled, getting a few laughs in return.

Maddie appeared behind me. "Hey guys." She said.

"So, what are we planning on doing?" I asked.

Liam shrugged. "We don't know."

"You're all a good load of help." I laughed. I got out my phone and searched for places nearby to entertain us. "Well, there's the zoo, the beach, oh! There's a fair today." I read off the phone.

"We should go to the fair." Sean said.

"I second that!" Michael said.

"Third." Julio called.

By now everyone was beginning to agree on the fair, and it wasn't that far away. So soon, we piled into two cars and began our journey.
