Chapter 1- Maybe school doesn't suck... yet.

Ari's POV

I woke up, showered, got dressed, did my hair, and my little makeup. I grabbed an apple, said goodbye to my dad, and walked out of the house. "School is gonna suck. People are going to think of me as a nerd with no friends." I thought. My thoughts were interrupted by loud laughing. I looked across the street to see a group of guys and one girl laughing. Must be nice. I must have been staring because the girl yelled to me.

"Hey!" She yelled and waved me over. I carefully crossed the street to join her and her group.

"Hi, are you new in town? I haven't seen you before." She asked.

"Yeah. Just moved here a few days ago." I smiled.

"Well, hi! My name is Maddie!" She said enthusiastically.

"I'm Ariana, but please call me Ari." I said and looked around at her group.

"Will do! Oh, I must seem so rude for not introducing my buds!" She laughed.

"Yeah Maddie. You're just so rude!" A guy wearing a green and brown sweater said.

"Whatever. Okay, so this is Jordan," She began pointing at everyone. "That's Liam, Zach, Julio, Sean, Devon, Parker, Michael and Will." She said.

"Hi." I said and looked down at my feet.

"No need to be nervous. We don't bite. Most of the time." I think Sean said, and I smiled.

"So, have you seen the school before?" Maddie asked me.

"No." I shook my head.

"Well then I think it will be for the best of I show you around!" she exclaimed.

"That would be great!" I agreed.

-School, first period-

"So, Miss Ari, what do you like to do?" Maddie asked.

"Oh, uh." I was thinking if I should tell her I like freaking minecraft and like watching videos like a dork. Well only one way to see if she's a good friend, "I like minecraft." I smiled.

"Really? So do I! And 'My group'." She smiled.

"Really? Most people make fun of me, a girl, for liking minecraft." I said.

"Yeah, I know. That's why I hang out with the guys. They get it." She giggled a little.

"Can I ask you a question?" I asked.

"Well, you just did, but go for it!" She smiled again.

"How do cute boys like them play minecraft? It would make way more sense to see them being MR all hot a popular. Quarterback of the football team type boys." I giggled.

"Oh my god. All of my friends say that! Like Bee, and Stacy. We talk about that all the time! They don't look like typical 'nerds'." She laughed.

"Hey Du- Maddie!" I think Devon said as he approached us, and Maddie glared.

"Hey Devon, guess what!" Maddie squealed.

"What?" He said sitting down. "Chicken butt?"

"No, Ari plays minecraft!" She squealed again.

"Sweet. She is going to be our new best friend." He smiled.

"Devon, for some reason, you look, or sound, really familiar. I don't know why, maybe I'm just desperate." I giggled. Maddie and Devon exchanged glances.

"Uh, I don't know girl." He laughed the awkwardness off. While we were walking to next period, which was art, I got a DM on twitter. From the one and only Graser10. I'm so freaking out when I get home.

I'm pretty sure I looked ridiculous, because Maddie snapped me out of fangirling.

"You okay?" She asked.

"Yeah, sorry." I laughed.

"So, want to come over after school? We are all gonna hang, since we have a three day weekend." Maddie asked.

"A three day weekend? I just transferred here, and now I have a three day weekend! Sweet! And ya, I'll come over." I smiled.
