Chapter 8- We are NOT dating

Ari's POV

We were walking to the same pizzeria he took me to the other day. We were laughing and talking, the entire way there. Sean was joking around and picked me up and flung me over his shoulder. An older later was walking behind us.

"Ah, young couples are so cute these days." She said. I lifted my head to see her smiling.

"I'm sorry, were not a couple." I smiled and Sean put me down.

"Well, you act like it." She said.

"More like... best friends." Sean said.

"That's what they all say." She said and turned to walk to a house.

"That was... strange...?" I said.

"Very." He agreed. "But we were kinda acting like a couple." He laughed.

"I guess, but we are best friends." I said.

Ever since the day we hung out, we bonded a lot. We have so much in common, and he was the first to know my secret. I would say, besides Maddie, he is my best friend.

We approached the pizzeria, "Finally!" I said.

"I'm paying!" He said.

"NO! I am!" I said as we sat in a booth.

"But I want to!" He argued.

"Nope! I want to!" I countered.

"But I'm the gentleman!"

"And I'm the lady. I can pay you know, I'm not helpless." I said.

The waitress walked over, "What can I get you two?" She asked.

Sean spoke before I even opened my mouth, "Two waters, a large cheese pizza, and if you don't let her pay, I'll give you a ten dollar tip." He smiled.

"Not fair!" I said.

"Will that be all sir?" She asked.

"Yes. Thank you." He said.

"Why a large pizza? We will never eat that much." I asked.

"To bring back to everyone." He smiled.

We finished eating, and Sean asked for the check. He paid, and he went to the bathroom before we left. I was waiting, scrolling through twitter, until the waitress came back

"He's a keeper." She smiled.

"Oh, were not dating." I said.

"Really? You guys act so much like a couple." She said.

"Why does everyone say that?" I groaned. "Were best friends!"

"That's how it starts." She smirked. "Here is your box." She said and walked away.

Sean came back, and we walked back. We only at a fourth of the pizza, so that means 3/4 for everyone else. "Everyone says we act like a couple." I laughed as we got out of the pizzeria.

"So, anyone up for truth or dare?" Maddie asked. Everyone agreed.

"I'll go first!" Zach said. "So, Ari. Truth or dare?"

"Dare." I smiled.

"What's your secret?" He asked. Shoot. I forgot to tell him.

"The names Daisy. Ring a bell Graser?" I asked. After a few seconds, Liam Zach and Jordan caught on. Then I had to explain my whole story, again.

"So, my turn!" I said. "Maddie, truth or dare?"

"Truth. I don't trust you." She smiled.

"Well thanks." I gasped.

"So, uh. Who is your crush?" I asked.

"No one. Boys are overrated." She shrugged.

"Mmmhmmm suuree." I said, then faked coughed. "Baljuice." And laughed, knowing they hated that ship.

"MY TURN!" Maddie yelled.

"Sean, Truth or dare?" She raised an eyebrow.

"Dare." He smiled.

"I dare you too..." She said and Jordan leaned over and whispered something in her ear and she smiled. "Kiss Ari."

"OKAY!" He yelled. He leaned over and kissed my cheek and smirked. She looked at him, "What? You didn't say where? So I chose her cheek." He shrugged.

I evilly smiled. Take that Maddie. Not a couple. There is no Hashtag Sari, or Daisyapplesauce. Nope.

"I say we take a group picture for twitter!" Liam suggested.

"Only if I'm not in it." I said.

"Oh, you can be in it, we just won't say it's Daisy." He smiled.

"But what if I accidentally slip up and say, 'I'm meeting up with them' or something like that." I said.

"Guys, she doesn't have to be in it, if she doesn't want to be." Julio said, and I gave a warm smile to him.

"SOMEONE GETS IT!" I yelled.

"How about we cover our faces, like all of us." Parker suggested.

None of them did facecam, besides Parker. But everyone had shown their face at least once, so I guess that would be okay.

"Just no one can say its me." I said.

"Don't worry Ari. You can trust us." Will said.

"Fine." I gave in.

We all grouped up in a circle and had hands covering our faces, except for Parker. He was being silly and didn't cover his face. Because you know, he's Parker.
