[[Y/N'S POV]]

"No sir, I need your entry request, or else I have to call the D.D.D." I grunt at Robertsky Peachman, who won't stop speaking.. Whatever language it's speaking.

"Peach peach peach peach." It repeats, still not giving its entry form, staring at me dumbly as saliva drips out if its widened mouth. With a sigh, tired of playing with it now, I press the emergency button and dial 3312.

The job hasn't been enticing ever since. Doppelgangers has intrigued me the first time I came across a cheese skin one. Let's say that I could feel the holes in my skin. Sometimes, a doppel's trait weren't able to alert me when they look perfect, but then I checked how bad their names are misspelled. Example? That one milkman doppelganger I see everyday.

Days were up, yesterdays were just a faint memory. I could barely remember what happened other than doppelgangers. Useless information but I thought it would be interesting somehow.

The shift went well, greeted tenants here and there and granted entry. I pick up my documents and twirl the keys in my finger. Stopping in the door frame, I stare back at the window, wishing that Francis came up today, but unfortunately he didn't.

He had always charmed me from a distance. But I can't help but make sure I don't kill off the real one. The doppelganger milkman has been coming in once everyday, trying to get access, but alas I deny. I heard it calling milkman a 'bland' guy at one shift before. But I didn't care as its killed off. But did it? Recalling that moment where the exact same doppelganger came back minutes later after being captured.

The keys twirls in my finger as I went down the corridor, whistling a tune as the atmosphere remains calm. It's nothing unusual at all, in fact, it gave me some time think about something. Seeing the elevator door open, Francis is conveniently in there. The smile escapes me the moment I saw him, walking quickly as he holds the elevator.

"Mmm.. You in a rush?" He asks me with a tedious look while I avoid eye contact.

"Not really, just making my way to my apartment, that's all." I explain to him as my cheeks turns hot.

"Hm, if you're excited or have something urgent to do, then I really don't have any means to stop you." He grins me, showing jagged teeth that made my smile fade away. I begin to back away till I'm against the wall.

"Y-You're not.." The fear sets it the moment it begins to approach me.

"Oh yes (y/n), I told you I would find my way in." It licks its lips, setting off panic and frustration. "C'mon now love, you don't have to run anymore." It reassures me in a comforting voice, causing eeriness in the air. Its hands place on my shoulders as it leans close to my face with a smug look. "I got you."

The elevator door opens and I quickly knee its dick to free myself, pressing a button to the ground floor while I run out.

"Get back here!" Its yell echoes throughout the corridor before the door closes shut. Running into my apartment, I sprint to the phone and dialed the D.D.D.

As the building goes on lockdown, I can't help but feel something when I was in the elevator with it. Its appearance was uncanningly similiar to the real one, except for the teeth which gave away. I'm surprised it didn't kill me immediately, because all it did was pin me against the wall.. If it really intended that for a certain reason..

"Oh my god it's not like that!" I yell at myself and plant my face into my hands as I sit down on the couch. My mind is filled with intense desires for Francis. Whenever I see his face, accurate doppel or not, I just light up with excitement. And it's frustrating when I find out it's a doppel.

Laying on my bed, the phone on the nightstand, I feel the need to call him up, but he might be busy.

Morning arrives, waking up as I slowly open my eyes. I rub the sleep away and stretched, letting out a satisfied groan.

The sugar desolves into the newly brewed coffee. The bitter taste wakes me up as I gave it a taste sip. I check the time from time to time, making sure I wont miss my shift arriving soon. Besides, signing up for morning shifts is tiring, but the slots for evening shifts were full. My job is just to check out tenants on their way out, so I could set up a list for the evening shift doormen. Smart, ain't we? But I also sometimes check in tenants who would come back from vacation and such.

I proceeded to have a staring competition with my own reflection while I brush my teeth. A good body needs a good partner huh? What a silly thought. I had thoughts to be with Francis, but I'm unsure if he wants it aswell. I spit into the sink and watch it run down the drain.

My clothes put on neatly, documents organized and keys hung beside the door. Can't forget that the shift is within minutes, I'm ready for another tiring shift.

I reach my office not long later. Well I was rushing so it makes sense. Angus comes up just in time as I place my documents on the desk.

"Good morning, (y/n)." He gives me a bright grin while he slides in his ID. "I'm checking out, gotta go meet Francis downtown." He gestures towards the direction. I smile a bit, reminded of Francis again as I list his name in the list.

"What's the reason he called you?" I ask him curiously, keeping my head low to draw suspicioun from him.

"Oh nothing, just some conversation with him because he's the best guy around the block afterall!" He snickers. "Besides, everyone loves the milk-man afterall." He looks at me with a smirk, seemingly to know what I think about him. Chuckling, I hand him his ID back then his entry form.

"Alright Angus, have a great day." I laugh softly as he bows slightly, bidding goodbye to me before walking off.

I just wonder where Francis even went. Yesterday, he didn't arrive, and I'm afraid he wont today either. I let out a solemn sigh, waiting for any upcoming tenants.

I had high hopes, but alas, he still didn't come in. My legs bounces impatiently, longing to talk with him and atleast find a hint that'll show his interest in me. And it's all just jealousy, knowing Francis called up Angus to meet up with him, I just couldn't help but let worry eat me up.

Becoming restless, I spot someone in the corner of my eye, lighting up my expression at the sight of him.
