Baby Shower Part 1: Planning

~3 days later...

I was in the lobby looking around to see that everyone was decorating for the baby shower party. The lobby was decorated in pastel blue, pink, yellow, and green decorations. I smiled to see that everything was looking really nice.

I looked to the side to see Angel and GunPowder hanging up the banner. "Your side needs to be lower GP." I said.

"Okay big mama." he said as he puts his side of the banner lower.

"Great." I smiled and went to the banquet table to see Lucifer organizing the utensils. "Great job sir."

"Thank you. Oh! How about we have 3 giant rubber ducks in the lobby?" he said as he magically poofed them up near the front door.

"They're too big!" I covered my mouth. "And they're sticking out like sore eyes. Make them smaller."

"Okay." he made the rubber ducks smaller which were on the table. "How's this?"

"That's better. Thank you." I nodded.

"You're welcome."

Then I went over to the wooden chair to see Bubbles with Razzle and Dazzle bringing the gifts there. "You're doing great my little fun sized dragons."

"Roo!" Bubbles wagged her tail.

"I'll bring you dragons treats later." I wagged my tail and went to the lobby couch to see Vaggie sewing up a hat. "Phew." I sighed out.

"Oi mija, you need to take a seat." Vaggie suggested.

"Not until everything is perfect Vaggie."

"Charlie! She's doing it again!"

"Aqua. We've been over this. As your boss, I suggest you sit down." Charlie said.

I sighed and sat on the couch. "I know you girls mean well, but I just want everything to be perfect."

"It's already perfect enough." Rachel said as she was bringing out the cake with Alastor.

"You must rest Aquamarine. You're to be due at any moment." Alastor agreed.

"Okay. I'll stay seated." I said as I reached into my chest fur and took out my knitting set. "And where's Husky? He should be helping too."

"He's with my father with something. He'll be here soon." Rachel said. "I swear we can never sit you down."

"I'd say I'll tell Husk to put you on a leash. A short one." Vaggie said.

"You know me. I can never get my things unfinished. I'm always prepared and double check everything." I said as I was knitting a pair of baby booties.

"Man bestie, you've invited a lot of people to this baby shower." Angel said as he was looking through my clipboard. "You even invited Ozzy?"

"Of course. Most of the people were from Rachel's wedding so I invited them as well." I said. "Including Ace and Spade, and they're Husky's brothers."

"You mean the ones that killed him?" Rachel asked.

"Yes."

"But sis. This isn't going to work out." Rachel crossed her arms. "Family problems like this take time."

"Hey. It wouldn't hurt for them to try and talk out their differences. It's better than waiting another 50 years just to talk about something they did wrong in the past." I said. "This will work. Trust me on it."

"Okay. If you say so."

~A little while later...

I watched to see that everybody was having a good time. I was sitting on the wooden chair with GP standing by my side. Just then, I smelled 2 different scents coming my way. They smelled of cigars and printing money. I looked ahead to see that it was Ace and Spade.

"H-Hey sis in law." Spade greeted me.

"Hi." Ace waved.

GP growled a bit. "Not another step."

"Down GP. They're okay with me." I said to him.

"Okay." he stood back.

"Ace. Spade." I wagged my tail. "I'm so glad that you can make it." I wagged the tip of my tail.

"Us t-too. We've brought you gifts for the babies." Spade said as he puts the gift basket near my feet.

"Here's mine too." Ace said as he placed a gift bag near me too.

"Thank you boys. I appreciate it not just for the gifts, but for you coming here as your choice." I said. "You don't have to talk to Husky now since he's at the bar. So while you're settling in, there's a buffet with your name on it there."

"Okay Aqua. Let's go bro." Spade said.

"I love food." Ace licked his lips as he left with him.

"Enjoy yourselves boys." I said with a smile and relaxed.

"Are you sure this was a good idea big mama?" GP asked me.

"It'll be fine. And if anything goes wrong, Rachel will teach them a lesson."

"Hehe, I'm ready." Rachel smirked.

"You know mermaid, a lot of people were asking me if there was going to be another fight at this baby shower." Lucifer said.

"Really now? Why's that?" I asked him.

"They said that it would be yet another memory they'll never forget. Just like the cat fight with Rachel and Lilith. And then with you and Valentino."

"I heard that the videos you posted up went viral sis." Rachel said. "And boy we're number one." she showed me through her phone.

"So that's where the money came from the other week ago! Huh, it all makes sense. And I actually didn't touch that money. I'll save it to put my kids through college. I mean, if there is a college here." I giggled.

Rachel, Lucifer, and GunPowder laughed with me too.

"Oh, I see cat man coming this way." Lucifer said. "Maybe he's already talked with his brothers and wants to talk to you."

"Perhaps." I said.

"We'll see you later sis. Come on Lucifer, let's dance." Rachel said as she faded into the shadows with Lucifer.

I looked ahead to see that Husky was coming in my direction. I smiled and wagged my tail, in which I'm always happy to see him. "Hey love."

"Hi sweetheart. Sorry I took so long." he said as he kissed my cheek. "Rachel's father wanted me to set some things up."

"That's alright love. I'm just glad you're here now."

"Thanks love. She wasn't trouble while I was gone, was she GP?" he asked him.

"Not that much. But you need to put a leash on her." GP responded back.

"That's what everybody's saying!" I giggled softly.

"Oh I will." Husky said as he bent down on his knees and rubbed my tummy. "How are my babies?"

"They're doing fine. They're busy making biscuits in the bakery. A lot more often now."

He chuckled. "I could imagine that it's getting pretty cramped in there."

"It must be." I rubbed the top of his head.

I gulped the feeling down my throat as I was ready to tell him about his brothers arriving here. I just hope that they don't make a mess of things.
