Meeting Alastor's Shadow

~3 nights later... almost midnight

I was in the living room playing with the kittens. They were already a few months old and they were all walking on all 4 paws. I was taking videos of them.

"Great job my kitties. You're learning how to walk now." I smiled while recording them.

Husky chuckled. "They are getting pretty good at it."

"Dada!" King waddled over to his cat dad.

"Hey bub." Husky picked him up. "Good job."

I giggled as I saw BlackJack and Marina yawning. "Aww." I stopped recording. "You sleepy kitties. It's time for bed."

BlackJack shook his head and started flapping his wings.

"Ah-Ah. No flying." I said as I brought him into my arms. "You can hurt yourself on the ceiling there. I swear you're a bit of a rebel like your cousin Alucard."

"Hehe, he is. As long as Alucard is far, far away from my daughter." Husky said as he picked her up. "Hey Marina."

Marina giggled and licked his heart shaped nose. "Dada."

"That's my girl." he nuzzled her which caused her to purr.

"Hey, I thought I was your girl pussycat." I said.

"You're both my girls. The best ones."

"Okay kitties. Bed time." I said as I was about to go to the stairs. Then I heard the grandfather clock. It was already midnight which caused me to smile. "Hehe, midnight." I looked back at Husky.

"Happy birthday honey." Husky said as he kissed my cheek.

"Thanks baby." I kissed his cheek back.

"Sis!" Rachel was running in with her arms up.

"Oh boy. Take BJ." I said to Husky as I gave BlackJack to him. Then I raised my arms up and braced for impact.

"Sissy!" Rachel ran to me and tackled me to the ground. "Happy birthday!" she laughed and gave me so many kisses planted on my face.

I laughed as her kisses tickled me. "Okay! Okay! Down girl! Down!"

She sat up in my lap. "I couldn't help it. It's your birthday after all." she wagged her tail as she helped me sit up.

"I know." I said.

"Damn you tackled her like a football player." Husky said as he carried the kittens.

"Trust me, she attacks harder than you think."

"I'll say." he nodded.

"Anyway! I thought you would like to meet someone." Rachel said.

"At this hour? But it's the kittens' bed time. And I'm surprised they stood up this late."

"It's okay honey. I'll go tuck the kittens in." Husky said.

"Okay kitty. Keep the bed cozy for me until I get there."

"Will do." he winked at me and went up the stairs. Then he left to bring the kids to bed.

"Okay. So, you have someone for me to meet?" I turned back to Rachel.

"Yeah. I think you'll like him. Don't freak out, okay?"

"Umm okay."

"Shadow!" she said the name at the ground.

I looked down where she was looking at and then I gasped. I saw this... dark shape moving in front of me. Then it was coming out of the ground by itself. It towered over me and revealed its glowing green eyes and smile.

"Oh!" I grew surprised and felt my tail fur standing on edge. "Sis!" I hugged her. "Is he gonna eat me?!"

"No. It's okay. He's a friendly shadow." Rachel hugged me back. "This is Alastor's shadow. I named him Shadow."

Shadow waved to me.

I pulled back from Rachel's embrace and waved to the waving shadow. "H-Hello."

Shadow flashed its smile at me.

"Sis. This is your husband's shadow?" I observed him.

"Yeah."

"How is this possible? Our shadows can't do that. Wait, can they?" I asked as my eyes widened.

"Well, you know I married the Radio Demon. So you know that it's possible."

"Since when did you meet Shadow?"

"I'd say before we went out the first time drinking."

"Wow. That long ago?"

"Yeah. Shadow has been Alastor's eyes and ears. In which I found out."

"Whoa." I looked back at Shadow. "And he didn't hurt you the first time?"

"No. But he's been more of a stalker friend since then. Right Shadow?"

Shadow nodded.

"But he's a good shadow now that I've married his master."

"So basically he's your back up boyfriend." I smirked.

"What's that supposed to mean?!" she blushed.

Shadow blushed too and covered his face.

I giggled. "Think about it. What if Alastor had business and you're craving for everything?"

"Like what?"

"What if you wanted to cuddle? Or end up having sex? Then Shadow would take over as the Radio Demon himself."

"Oh gosh, I would never do that. I have Lucifer for that too!"

"I swear sis, the tables have really turned. Back in our days of the living, I get all the boys. But now that we're in Hell, it's you getting the boys."

"It's not like that!"

"I'm just teasing you. But imagine if Shadow really did rock your world~?"

"Oh gosh! I would never forgive myself!" she covered her blushing red face.

Shadow blushed even harder.

"Sorry Shadow. You know I'm just teasing with you two."

"You'd better be." Rachel growled lightly.

"I am. But overall, I'm glad to have befriend a friendly shadow that I had no idea existed. Welcome to my friend circle." I held my paw out to Shadow.

Shadow took my paw and shook it.

I giggled. "Man. So many questions that need answers. What else is possible here in Hell?"

"We'll never know unless we discover it by ourselves." Rachel said as she calmed down.

"You're definitely right about that sis. Well, I should get going to bed."

"I'll make a really nice birthday breakfast for you in the morning."

I laughed. "Thanks sis. Goodnight." I gave her a kiss on her cheek.

"Goodnight sis."

"Goodnight Shadow. It was nice meeting you." I waved to him as I went upstairs.

Shadow waved back.

As I made it to my room, I slowly opened the door quietly. I peeked inside to see the kittens in their cribs and Husky on my bed. I smiled as I came inside and closed the door. I took off my clothes and stayed in my lingerie. I got into bed and snuggled up into Husky's arms.

Husky purred. "You took a while." he whispered in my ear.

"I know. I'm sorry." I whispered back.

"It's okay. I'm glad you're in my arms." he brought me closer.

I hummed into his snuggly warmth. I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep. "Goodnight."

"Sleep tight."

"Dream of good dreams tonight." I smiled in my sleep.
