Aftermath

~Aqua's POV~

After I saw Alastor leave with Rachel, I felt guilty as fuck. Tammy sees me more as her little sister instead of Rachel. And it felt like I was responsible for this. Sometimes I wished that the afterlife shouldn't have happened when we first found her. But right now, that's not my main concern. My true number one main concern is about where Husky and my kittens vanished off to.

I looked at Lucifer who was feeding Lydia. "Your Highness, where's my family?"

"Uhh, they went for a walk! They should be back any minute!" he chuckled nervously.

The nervousness in his chuckle sounded strange to me. I was about to say something else until I heard the door open. I looked to the side to see that Husky and my babies came in.

"Oh, honey! You're home." Husky smiled.

I was relieved. "Husky! Kitties!" I ran over to him and hugged him. "Where have you been? I was worried when I came home to see that you and my babies were gone. You didn't even pick up your phone."

He chuckled. "Sorry live. We had a little outing on the playground next to a daycare school. I got distracted."

"Oh. Okay. Next time answer your phone so that way I won't be so worried. Hell is a dangerous place for our kittens."

"Don't worry. I'll be more attentive next time."

"Good." I looked inside the carriage to see my triplet kittens. "There are my babies." I giggled and wagged my tail. "Had fun with daddy today?"

"Hehe yeah. They loved it."

"I'm so glad." I leaned forward and was about to give my kittens a kiss until I picked up a scent off of King and BlackJack. "Huh? Why do the boys smell like nacho chips and cheese?"

"Oh, they got into a sinner's lunch."

"You naughty kitty boys." I giggled. "Be more careful next time my sons." I stroked their fur coats. "And how's my little Marina?"

"She made a new friend at the park."

"Did she?" I asked as I picked her up. "Aww, you little girl. I'm so proud of you. Making friends so fast. Just like with me and godfather Angel." I nuzzled her as she purrs.

"Hehe, I think it's time for them to go to sleep."

"You're right. I'll nurse them after a bath."

"Okay." he nodded.

So we went upstairs with the kittens to our room. While Husky took care of the kittens, I went to take a shower. After a little while, I came out of the bathroom dry and naked so the kittens can nurse me.

"Okay my little ones. Feeding time." I said as I went into a corner of our room that had a human dog sized bed there.

After Husky puts the kittens in line to nurse me, he sat next to me and gave me unlimited cuddles and kisses.

I hummed lightly. "Man, how did I ever hit the jackpot with you?" I asked Husky lovingly.

"Since the second black eye." he chuckled.

"Yeah." I smiled and watched the kittens nurse on me. Then I smelled Husky. "Wow babe, you smell like you've taken a bath in nothing but cheap booze. Is everything okay?"

"Yeah. I'm okay. I just need to change my clothes." he cleared his throat.

"Oh. Well that's okay." I leaned my head on his chest fur.

"Thanks babe."

"You're welcome babe." I said as I sighed into his chest fur. "Umm babe?"

"Yeah?"

"Do you ever feel like someone likes you better than the other person?"

"Yes. Why?"

"Well... today at the movie theater, Rachel and I found Tammy. Her real biological sister."

"Really now?" he looked down at me. "Was it that black and blue 5 tailed wolf that walked out of the door?"

"Yeah. That's her." I nodded. "We've brought her here to show her that Rachel is married to Alastor and Lucifer. And once she saw them, she was telling Rachel to drop the divorce bomb on them right on the spot."

"That's really messed up."

"It is. Honey, I don't want Rachel to end her life she's build so much of."

"I know. And neither do I. She doesn't deserve this. That Tammy girl is nothing but a jealous little bitch."

"You think it's because she's jealous?"

"Well, there has to be more than one reason why."

"And Rachel was never religious to begin with."

"Really?"

"Yeah. Tammy said that Rachel's embarrassed her religion because she married the boys behind her back."

"Okay. Now that's some bullshit she's spitting out."

"Right. And..." I looked down.

"And what babe? What happened?"

I looked back up at him. "And I somewhat feel like I'm responsible for this."

"Why?"

I looked back down, then looked back up at him. "Tammy admires me as her little sister more than Rachel."

"That's crazy. She's in disbelief."

"She is. Just because we almost look the same. But we're really not."

"I know. You're both different."

"We are different. And she's also treating Rachel like garbage. I didn't like it one bit. I really wanna help them."

He rubbed my ear. "Honey, you have a good heart. But maybe we should just let things run their own course. I don't want you to overwork or stress yourself."

"Yeah. You're right Husky. I should just let things in the afterlife run its own course and see what happens next in this unexpected situation." I looked down to see that our kittens fell asleep while nursing.

"Aww. Time to go mimi my little ones." Husky chuckled as he sat up and burped each kitten. Then he puts them down in their little cribs.

As he was doing that, I got up from the nursing corner and stretched while I was still in the nude. After I laid down in the bed, Husky took off all his clothes and climbed into bed with me au natural. Then he covered us with the bedsheets.

"Hey honey?" I said.

"Yes my love?"

"If Ace and Spade were to say to split up with me... would you do it?"

He sat up and held my cheeks with his paws. "No. I would never do that to you love. You're very special to me. Hell sent me the most wonderful soul in the whole afterlife. You've changed me so much just as I have changed you."

I smiled and held his paws that were holding my cheeks. "That's what I thought you'd say. I never want to split up with you either. Without you, I'd be a very messy person being in the sponge room all the time."

He chuckled. "Yeah. You would."

"Most definitely." I giggled softly. Then I yawned softly and laid back down.

"Sleep my love. You need it." he said as he wrapped his wing around me.

I got closer to him and snuggled up to him. Then I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep with my wonderful cat man.
