Doctor checked Piyali, and band aided her injuries,
" she is fine, her nose got bleeded and her head got minor injury.
She will be fine she need rest and don't let her take any stress.
Continue this medicine and I will come tomorrow" doctor said Sakshi followed her to outside.

" those stairs are not so high, otherwise I'm frightened to imagine what could've happened!" Rajveer said feeling sad.

Roopali approached Ranvijay and asked what happened, he narrated everything that occurred.

" but what followed her?" Rajveer speak, " I think that Shadow! Ha that only followed her.
Ira didi is right this Mahal is haunted, we should vacate otherwise Her spirit will kill us.
Today it attacked Piyali, and what is the guarantee that it won't kill any of us.
I can't endanger anyone's life" Roopali cried.

Ranvijay's face frowned hearing that, as he don't want to leave the Mahal.
" maa, stop it! This Piyali is quiet scared, she might have scared seeing rat or something else, there is no spirit and this Mahal is not haunted at all, let her take rest." he said and walked away, he hide the fact, that he heard Someone calling Piyali's name.

" maalik" he heard Hasmukh voice and turned to him.
" please vacate this Mahal, it's not late.
By luck Piyali saheba is saved, but we cant count on luck every time, you all are very good people I can't see you all suffer" he said in gentle tone.

Ranvijay fisted his hand and controlling his anger he talked calmly, " look Hasmukh, I know Piyali from her childhood, she must've seen a rat, or you also heard Maa shared Sharmista's story with her.
So she have hallucinated something, don't take seriously, go and sleep"

" maalik, I'm living in this village from my childhood, I have heard so many stories about this Mahal,
It's my duty to assure safety of my maalik, I will make sure you all stay safe here" he said and left.

Next day:

Piyali opened her eyes and find Sakshi, " finally you wake up, are you okay!" She said, Rajveer who is about to step inside saw her waking up and ran from there like a child shouting, " maa, Piyali is waken up!"
It reached Ranvijay's ears aswell.

He signaled his hand at Hasmukh to stop who is reading news for him.
" maalik, can I meet Piyali saheba and come" he requested, Ranvijay nodded in yes and Hasmukh left in jiffy.

Roopali also went, while Ranvijay sat in his chair and observed everything.
" Piyali!" Roopali came to her muffling her cries with her pallu.

" maa" Piyali speak looking at her tired, she hugged her and cried,
" I thought I have lost you, it is my fault I should've not said you that haunted story, I'm sorry my dear"
" no maa, you've done nothing" she replied.
Ranvijay came and stood outside the room hearing their conversation.

" what happened Piyali, what caused you to so panic" Rajveer questioned, making her go stiff, Ranvijay got alert as he also want to learn the reason.

Piyali clutched the bedsheet tightly in fear and her eyes became wide, filling with tears.
" bhaiyya let her rest, doctor said she shouldn't take any stress" Sakshi intervened Sensing her fear, sitting beside her, she rubbed Piyali's shoulder for assurance.

Roopali stared at her with pity and left saying she will bring food for her, she saw Ranvijay there,
" Vijay won't you, ask her how's she is feeling" she said, but he didn't answered and walked away quietly.

" Piyali saheba, don't step down, if you want anything just call my name and I will be at your service in no time" Hasmukh said, she gave a weak smile at him.
