Ekant got down from bed and tried to walk out but held back by Rajveer.

" bhai, leave me" He jerked,
" I won't let you go, just order your constables and guide them" Rajveer speak.
But Ekant didn't heard even to Nilanjan and doctors and walked out of hospital stubbornly not paying attention to his pain.

" I'm sorry Piyali I didn't saved you from Mrinali.
Sakshi entrusted your safety with me.
How can I face her?
Piyali where ever you are I will find you" Ekant thought feeling sad and frightened thinking about her.

He reached police station in that state and went through the information constables collected.

Rajveer and Nilanjan reached there, and find Ekant seriously going through the file.
He is still in hospital dress.

" it is mentioned only Anklet is found in spot, but Piyali had jewellery on her, so we must enquire that area thieves" Ekant analyzed and ordered his constable to bring those thieves to him, who have criminal history and who are suspected to be thieves in that area.

Within an hour they gathered total ten people infront of him.

Ekant observed them seriously and asked, " look, my patience is completely ran out.
So tell me only the truth.
Last night did any of you saw this girl"
He showed Piyali's photo to them.

He observed two persons facial expressions to change.
He straightly went to them and said, " you both know this girl right?"
They nodded in no.

" tell me" He shouted, they flinched at his tone and stared at each other.

He slapped one of them making other to scare.
" beat him until he confess" he ordered.

He eyed at other thief and said,
" tell me I will leave you, or else" he signaled to constable who have a stick in his hand ready to charge.

" sir don't beat me, I will confess" thief requested.

" speak" Ekant ordered.

"sir, last night we saw this girl laying on the road badly injured and on verge of death.
I even asked my friend to admit her in hospital.
But he said she wouldn't make up to hospital, and she have jewellery so we robbed her" thief said and earned a hard slap from Ekant who is shaking in anger.

" what happened to that girl, ha tell me?" He shouted clutching collar of that thief.

" sir we robbed her entire jewellery, but suddenly we heard leaves rattling and heard a faint roar from the bushes.
We thought some animal is there.
And we ran leaving that girl, as she is already dead by then I think" he said shivering with fear.

Ekant eyes widened hearing everything, and slapped him " tell me did you know she is dead?
You only killed her right?
You killed her for her jewellery right?"

The thief joined his hands and begged, " no sir, we didn't killed her she is already on verge of death and we just steal jewels, we didn't killed her.
We ran from there"

" thrash them, don't you have humanity, instead of taking her to hospital you people...." Ekant yelled and pushed the thief away.

He eyed at Rajveer and Nilanjan who just stood there without any reaction, they are bewildered by everything they heard.
Before Ekant speak Rajveer walked away and Nilanjan followed him.
" bhai, Uncle!." Ekant is about to go behind them but halted,
" sir, should we search forest Incase case we find her remains" one constable speak stopping Ekant.
