Ekant can see a girl's feet adorned with anklets stepping into his room.
His hands retreated back not clutching Prabir's neck.

He slowly raised his gaze up, his heartbeat increased as with every passing second.
His breathe became rapid, as he raised his eyes fully at the face of the girl who walked inside.

World around him stopped as his Eyes met with her.
His lips parted away and his words went unspoken.
He stopped taking breathe for a second.

" Piyali!" His heartbeat skipped a beat.

Piyali kept staring at him in his eyes, her eyes turned soft for a while seeing him.
She felt a sudden raise in her heart beat which she noticed too.

She shifted her eyes from him and her eyes fell on the person inside the prison, and her soft eyes first welled up at the sight and her soft expression turned in stern frown when she again eyed at Ekant.

He blinked his eyes and without his control he started to take steps towards her.

" why you came inside Piyali ?" Prabir asked, she didn't replied and her frown deepened with Ekant's each passing step towards her.
He finally stood infront of her.

He didn't blinked feeling, if he blink she might vanish into thin air proving he is imagining her.
She glared at him, he felt the urge to touch and confirm she is not his any mere imagination.

" Piyali!" He said softly and raised his hand to touch her cheek, but he felt a burnt sensation on his cheek making him bringing into his senses.
He realized she slapped him, which startled him.
He didn't expected this, Prabir quickly walked to her and stood beside for her defense.

" are you human or monster?
Do you have a heart in your chest or a stone?
How can you thrash someone so brutally!
Didn't your hands shivered beating my brother" her voice boomed in his ears.

" Piyali...." he tried to speak, but she didn't let him do so.

" you said you want to meet me right.
I'm right here standing infront of you.
Now release my brother!" She demanded.

Ekant is in dilemma, as he doesn't understand why she is speaking with him like this and for what.

" Piyali, why are you behaving like this?" He asked completely puzzled.

" don't you heard, release my brother now" she yelled.

Ekant signaled his constable to open the cell and bring Jaggu out.
Within seconds Jaggu is standing infront of her all wounded, Prabir immediately held him when he is about to trip and fall.

Piyali's heart shattered seeing her brother in that plight.
" brother, I'm sorry this is all happened because of me" she cried Wiping blood away from Jaggu face with her pallu.

Jaggu who is battling to be conscious realized it is Piyali and manged to mumble,
" wh...wah...why yo...you came..he..here?"

" for you! I promise you brother, he will pay for what he had done to you" she said glaring at Ekant who is perplexed about the situation happening around him.

" brother admit Jaggu brother to hospital, I will come after having a word with this officer" she said glaring at Ekant.

" but Piyali.." Prabir protested but stopped when he heard her,
