The next day I got home and my parents were livid. They didn't even ask how the dance went... They just glared at me. "Who on earth were you talking to at 10:45 last night?" My mom questioned. Crap... I was so caught up in the night, I forgot that I couldn't text after 8:30. I explained what happened... It didn't matter! They still yelled at me and then toll my phone away. "Having a phone is a privilege, not a necessity!" They always said. Urg.
The next Monday I got to school and met up with Halle. I told her what happened and soon Seth came over and looked concerned. "What's wrong?" I asked. "Do you not like me? You wouldn't text me all weekend and you just left in the middle of our conversation." he responded. I told him what had happened and when I would get my phone back. School that day was miserable without my phone! I had a test in nearly every class and I had nothing to do afterwards. Great! I sat and began cracking my knuckles. "Can you like not? Some of us are trying to focus! Not all of us are freaks like you!" A snotty mean voice sneered. It was Gina. Ew. I didn't want to deal with her today... she was too much. I rolled my eyes and continued to go about my business. I hoped that it would get better later on. I was way off.
