"Whichever timeline or branch of this universe, the warm and soothing radiance will appear to bring new colors of life and hope."
There are despairs and cries of sadness, then darkness.
Mary wakes up and finds herself inside a casket and in a chao...

'A terrible disappointment you have been, this proves your inability to maintain an important social connection to a figure who holds an important role in our homeland. You are no child anymore, Riddle, at this age you must know the kind of actions needed to be done towards a significant other...' The message sent via traditional mail written on a rose-scented decorative stationary went on with more criticism in a negative tone, not even at least one single sentence sympathizing with their son who had never been in love nor knew what a significant other was supposed to be. Riddle's life was predetermined, every single aspect equaled business, emotional attachment and human touch were not in the picture.
So why was this blamed on him now?
Riddle crumpled the stationary, his hand shaking as it curled into a fist, this was challenging his control, he thought his vision momentarily darkened.
The sound of the door opening was a welcome interruption, Trey stepped inside the office. "You should have skipped your afternoon classes, Riddle and rested the entire day." His face was contorted with worry.
"Nonsense, this is not valid excuse to skip a subject." Despite the aching in his chest earlier in classes because of the current occupants of his mind, Riddle managed to take down important notes and even proactively recited. "Taking a time out for such trivial matter will only make my parents think how incompetent I am."
The Heartslabyul Vice Dorm Leader was not seeing the connection to the root of Riddle's demise. Trey knew Madel in extension, the family she came from was quite known in their home and they were decided by their family to be in a romantic relationship for future purposes. Both influential households together would mean more foundation. "It is not your fault, Riddle." He just had to say this, seeing his friend dejected and upset with himself for something he couldn't control... "Madel does not even spend time with you, most of your interactions were short, she doesn't like what you like. It's unfair to put all the blame on you." He didn't voice this out but Trey had an inkling Madel was already seeing other guys before. 'This relationship they had was never rooted from love nor care.'
No word came from Riddle so the office was blanket in silence, the night was approaching and outside the window, the sky was already in its lovely shade of dusk.
Trey glanced around and decided to swerve the topic elsewhere. "The roses are coated red, I inspected it before going here. I saw the freshmen as well and they were talking about getting ingredients for the tarts."

It was an odd request, one Mary had to lie about because for some reason she couldn't bring herself to tell Grim she was going out today to see Riddle in town. Since today was a weekend, the redhead was garbed in a simple modest-length forest green dress that Professor Crewel provided her—honestly, seeing the lavish and fashionable professor was probably the best thing this early morning, he sounded so interested after he knew Mary was going to town with a 'friend'. The dress he gave was from one of his trips a while back and he guaranteed it was the best, not overly done but not too bland either. He also added it would make her hair pop out nicely.
