"Huh?! Did I just hear you said what you just said?" Grim's ears were twitching, like pair of antennas trying to confirm if the signals were proper.

It wasn't only him, even the three Ramshackle Dorm ghosts had disbelief written all over their faces and shoulders sagged after hearing what the redhead declared.

Surely they heard Mary wrong, she didn't say—with excitement—that she was going to put on the dress inside the box. She bawled her eyes and poured her heart out on them few nights ago, she was definitely NOT going through this...

...Right?

Mary was not holding back her squeals and those doe emerald green eyes of hers lit up with sparkles as if stars poured over them. She held the letter to her bosom while twirling in place, her long dress skirt swaying in sync with her movement. The questioning gazes and statement from her dormmates spiraled to nothingness because all she thought about was Riddle wanted to see her again. The initiation came from him.

"Grim! He changed his mind, he does feel the same for me!" The red-haired girl with spring on her steps picked up the baffled creature and did a little dancing while humming off-tune.

Grim only appeared more lost, "What part of the letter made you reach this ridiculous conclusion?" He never saw her this vibrant and delighted. Only now it dawned on him that Mary was down bad for the Heartslabyul Dorm Leader.

A pink shade of blush bloomed on her cheeks after her dancing, "Please Grim, we must go." She stared with those ultra pro max glittery puppy eyes.

"No, we will not!" Grim was going to be firm about this.

---

Deuce was startled in admiration, stopping halfway after he left the dorm building and saw the Ramshackle Dorm duo approaching. His blue-green eyes were on Mary. "Whoa, Mary, you look like a princess." She always had that air around her that Deuce couldn't shake but today with the dress, it only made it more emphasized.

"I thought you guys are not coming but hey, I am not complaining!" Ace came after, halting next to Deuce and smiling.

A deadpan scowl was carved on Grim's face, his ears down while crossing his arms. "Yes we are not supposed to." But damn it! When did he become weak for that ultra pro max puppy eyes mode of Mary?! So now he reluctantly put on the theme-aligned collar ribbon which also came inside the package.

They went to the venue, Deuce leading the duo in the area and showing off the decorations everyone worked hard putting up and the magical spells they used to keep some floating mid-air. The long covered table had a various spread of snacks that one could enjoy in a late afternoon and of course the signature hot tea beverages were also available—with a cast of magic, the teapot maintained its hot liquid content.

"Alice looks beautiful!"

"Glad you made it today, Miss Alice and Grim!"

"We hope you'll like the shortcakes, nothing here is mass produced!"
