The 'relationship' continued, more it carried on and less chance Mary was given to voice out her perspective in the matter. Even Grim was beginning to find the sudden closeness with Riddle baffling, in his eyes, it was like an odd jigsaw puzzle that didn't fit right. Riddle didn't hide it to anyone in Heartslabyul Dorm either, the determined expression never faded from his face when they held hands or gave an order for Mary to sit closer for picture.

Pictures. He already had lots of it and instructed Cater to print plenty, those that were best believable Riddle would showcase to his parents.

"It was Riddle? A fine choice he is, I'd say." The update already reached even Professor Crewel's ears, with most students talking about it and aware due to Riddle suddenly becoming intentional on emphasizing the physical touches or how they were together, it wasn't impossible for the Alchemy professor not to know. "He is an honor student and consistent in keeping his grades up, I have no accurate knowledge how he fares in relationship but I do not doubt he is going to fail there too." While he was pleased that it was not a brash boy or someone pulling a bad prank on the redhead, Divus didn't notice the opposite gleam on Mary's emerald eyes.

The Alchemy class that noon was over, students in the section she was in were already filing out; they had a vacant period before their next subject.

"Right, yes he is." Mary spoke in a tone filled with uncertainty as she stood there before the teacher's table on front. "I will go now, Professor."

She met with Ace and Deuce who were waiting in the hallway with Grim. Unlike before where the NRC students showered the redhead with unwelcoming gestures and disguised hostility, some of them would turn away and those picking up on her already stopped—it was probably the only good outcome from this but instead of feeling relieved, Mary continue to feel a displaced ache in her chest.

Ace scratched his neck, "So you and Riddle huh? I can't believe it, Mary. Tell me, am I dreaming?"

She wished it was, that was what Mary wanted to say. "No you are very much awake, Ace." She tried chuckling and schooling her expression to appear fond about it.

"We will not pry further in your private affairs but we just want to tell you that we'll be here supporting you and Dorm Leader." Deuce added.

Grim didn't look convinced but he just exhaled and crossed his arms. "That goes for me too, I guess." His gaze swept around them—not exactly looking at anyone particular as his thoughts were still drifted to this whole couple thing his mind refused to acknowledge. Also, why the heck was he so affected? Better if he was disinterested but he was riled up. The source of his irritation caught his gaze, standing not far from behind Mary. "Your boyfriend is here."

The statement brought uneasiness in Mary's spine and she whirled around, confirming Riddle was there and he seemed like he just got out of his class too. His lips compressed into a scowl. "Let us go." He reached a hand out and clasped it around Mary's wrist, not bothering a goodbye nor acknowledging the others.
