19.What A Confession

The sound of gentle waves crashing against the shore fills the air as the sun rises over the horizon

I open my eyes and rubs it and sits up in the bed, taking the view of the sun-kissed beach outside. I look around the room noticing the absence of everyone in the house

"Hmmm where could they be"

I get up from my bed and walk down the hallway peeking into some of everyones room

Out of curiosity, I approach one the close bedroom doors and gently opened it revealing the sight of gordon sleeping peacefully in his bed

I smiled softly and whisper to myself "there you are, sounds asleep must have had a late night"

I close the door quietly and head to the kitchen, I wore an apron standing at the stove. I gather all the ingredients and put them at the counter top and After cooking it the aroma of freshly cooked pancakes fills the kitchen

The sound of footsteps approaches and as gordon enters the kitchen

Gordon was rubbing his eyes sleepily and said "what's that delicious smell? pancakes?"

Gordon walk up to me and without a word he grab a spatula joins me cooking it without talking, as we work together side by side our faces were inches apart and I keep staring at him I don't know why my eyes can't focus at the pancakes we were cooking

"am I that handsome to stare"

"do you know what I hate the most? Is that you're being to delusional"

"okay stop talking the pancakes is about to be burn"

Just as our camaraderie deepened, a footstep was approaching us and Emily entered the room I never knew she was here

"umm hey, Emily where was your room again?" i asked her curiously

"at the left side of Thalia's room"

I thought that was the second bathroom, I came to my sense and Emily was preparing the spoons and plate

"[Name] can you wake Thalia, Momona, and celine, could you wake them up for me?"

I already know what emily wants me to leave and I have this feeling a twinge of jealousy

"of course I'll go wake them up"

Gordon pov:

I noticed [name]'s unease and I decided to accompany her to everyone's room showing my care and interest in [name]

I grab her hands softly and said "I'll just come with [name]"

"no ill go by myself" she said and let go of my hand

"you sure? " I whisper softly

She nodded. I remained with Emily and we watched her walked away and I noticed Emily's anxious demeanor and I decides to approach her

"Emily, you okay?"

Emily took a deep breath and said "yeah I'm fine"

I turned my back to clean all the mess that me and [Name] made

"actually there's something I've been meaning to tell you" she said and she was hesitating to tell me
