I wake up to someone shaking me. "Five more minutes mom!" I tell her. I don't wanna go to school. I heard Auden chuckle at that. "School's closed idiot! We arrived at grandpa and grandma's!" As he said that, everything came rushing back to me.

SD, Rachel, them being entitled bitches, gramps putting them in their place, Truth or Dare in the car, Auden confessing to his crush, Rachel and SD again being entitled bitches and being shown their place again by grandpa, Mom's hurt expression when Rachel said that she's our mom (I need to talk to her about that), then me and Auden both falling asleep. The events of today morning started playing in my head and this time, mom snaped me out of it.

"Emmie stop day-dreaming and get out of the car!" Mom said in a playful tone. I smiled, rubbed my eyes a bit, stretched and then got out of the car. I noticed Auden was missing.

 "Hey, grandpa where's Auden?"

"Auden was very excited to meet his grandma so currently he's inside the house."

"Oh okay thanks."

I looked up at Grandpa and granny's house. Even after these many years, their house still manages to shock me. The reason that it shocks me is it's not even a house, it a dam mansion. A beautiful mansion at that. It was also the place I called a third home (the second being Uncle and Auntie's) and I loved it. This house just held so many memories for me. I looked at it fondly before going in.

Once we were all in, I felt someone's arms around me. "Sweetie! I missed you so much!" I smiled and hugged her back. "I missed you too grandma." 

"How was the ride darling? You must be exhausted..."

"No no! Me and Auden slept like babies in the car." 

"Whatever you say."

"Hi Karen!" Mom's voice came as she entered the house. "Tessa! My god look at yourself! You look so tired!" 

"Well I am a little tired, but it's fine." 

"No it's not mom, go and rest" I ordered her.

"Yes, Emery is right. Go take a nap darling."

"But-" I cut her of mid sentence. "Mom, please?" I told her with puppy dog eyes. After some hesitation, she agreed and went upstairs. Auden had come into the room while she was halfway up the stairs and he rushed to go help her. 

The homewreckers came in at the end but there was still no sign of grandpa. When grandma saw them she greeted them coldly. She even gave Rachel the side-eye. Oh this day just keeps getting better and better. The only reason I didn't strangle them to death was because mom told me not to. She told me to not waste my energy on these stupid people and I agreed. Mark my words though, if they pull anything and I mean ANYTHING they'll be needing a hospital visit. 

"You haven't seen Ken have you darling?" Grandma quired. "Well, I saw him get out of the car but then he disappeared." Me and SD answered in unison. I saw SD's face become and red and I rolled my eyes. Grandma sighed and guessed he'd probably taken a smoke break. "So, do you want to make cookies?" grandma asked cheerfully. I was about to answer when the bitch rudely interrupted me.

"I would love to Karen." 

"I was asking Emmie not you." Grandma told her coldly. "Yes grandma, I'll make cookies with you." I told her. Rachel looked irritated and Hardin looked defeated. "C'mon dear." Grandma told me, her tone becoming normal again. 

"Actually can I have a word with you Emery?" The bitch asked in a sickly sweet voice.

"Alright, here's a word no" And with that I turned to follow grandma.

Just then the door opened. Grandpa walked in with someone I didn't know. As soon as Hardin saw her though his face turned white. 

"It's been a while right Hardin?"

Cliffhanger because why not? 

Who do you think that is? *Hint* it's one of the MAJOR reasons I hate Hardin and this person is mentioned in After We Collided book. Now guess who it is.
