Emmie's Crying!?

Auden P.O.V.

A lot of shit happened. That's for sure. But right now I am too shocked to address any of that. I just want to know that man's thoughts and want to know how he had the balls to say "AtLeAsT i'M nOt HoMoPhObIc". And with a straight face? The fuck? Is he okay? You know what? I don't care anymore. 

Currently me and Emmie are standing outside mom's door with big smirks. And Addy is hiding by the stairs. I know it's time when Emmie looks at me with that devil stare. I nod smirking wider and then we open the door and jump onto mom's bed.

"GOOD MORNING!" Emmie yells

"C'MON MOM! WAKE UPPPPPPPPPPP!"

Mom groans and then laughs a little indicating she's awake. She sits up after me and Emmie calm down.

"What time is it?"

"6 P.M."

Mom looks shocked. 

"ALREADY!?"

We laugh at her. She smacks us both on the head for doing that but laughs with us. 

"Okay, let me fix my hair and unpack, yeah?"

"But mooooommmm there are guestsssssssss!" I whine. I do that a lot.

"Quit whining Auden! But yeah, mom there are guests and you need to come downstairs." Emmie is a WAY better liar than I am so usually I let her handle the talking.

Mom sighs and then agrees (very reluctantly). "But let me fix my hair first!" 

"Yeah, okay." I say walking out.

"And I'll help!" Emmie chirps.

Mom looks at her with an eye-brow raised but doesn't say anything.

A few minutes later she walks out with Emmie behind her. Addy jumps up from the staircase and yells "SURPRISE!!"

After alot of tears and hugs, we finally head down to meet everyone else.

"Hey Tess! Slept well?"

"Yeah, thanks mom"

Grandma smiled and that's when Natalie walked into the room. Mom stood there, shocked, looking at her for about a minute before jumping and hugging her. Nat hugged back laughing.

"Do y'all know eachother?"

"Of course we do Auden, Nat was the one who paid for more than half our rent for a few months, but I'm guessing you won't remember that since you were only one."

"Then, someone wanted to go back to her hometown and never come back to visit!" She said pointing a finger to her accusingly. 

"Sorry darling. Work kept me busy."

".....fine" mom mumbled 

Then, Hardin walks in (to ruin the moment because he loves doing that). "Hey Tess."

Mom refuses to look at him. Hardin sighs, looking defeated.

"So Auntie, wanna hear about what happened to Rachel?"

Mom raises an eyebrow and agrees. We tell her the whole story, from start to finish and I could tell she was holding in her laughter. Why she didn't laugh, I don't know. 

I turned to where Emmie was supposed to be standing expecting to see her laughing face, instead, I saw nobody. I wonder where she went. Probably the bathroom. Then, I realize that Hardin isn't here either and now I'm suspicious 

Just as I started to leave, Emmie pulled up and behind her came Hardin. Why? Then, I look more closely and realize that she's crying a little. 

What the fuck did Hardin do?

HIYAAA!!!!! No. I'm not dead just, writer's block yk? But I'm backkkkkkkkk :DD

How are y'all? Did you eat? Drink water? If you didn't, you know the drill

Ik it's a short chapter but don't worry! More's coming! I think the day after? And that'll be a LONG chapter dw. 

Also, if you like Emmie, I'm sorry, but prepare your tissues. Like uncle Rick says, "It warms my heart to make small children cry with my books :D"
