We're sent to a room with a single bed in the middle, she looks at me almost like she's in a trance. "I know Lazen says you're a false soul but I think she's lying, she always lies. My fathers told me they took your memories away but to see you right now in the flesh is all I need."

Fuck, I'm being mistaken for someone else in this already weird fucked up situation. I'm paying for the mistakes of others in this. Why couldn't Lazen use a little magic to change me into any other color? There's no way she couldn't have done that unless this was done on purpose.

"I've done so many terrible things when you left, I know if you were in the right mind you'd hate me and I know what I've done is terrible." Her voice quivers as she drops to her knees and holds onto my legs.

I don't know if I should comfort her. I have no idea who she's talking about and what she's done. I'm not this other pink woman! I look behind her to see a painting of a pink woman on her wall, it's huge and takes up most of it. We don't even look alike! The only thing we have alike right now is the braids and color. Why me? I'm sitting on information and I have to deal with this. I'm not a therapist I work in finance.

"Just for tonight hold me and pretend you know me."

I look down at her. I mean I could tell her, it would definitely ruin the mood. "Um, Cirus, are you really going into the tree?"

"Oh you must have some memory left but yes, it's my destiny. That's why I need you right now before I can only have you in figments. Just one night please." she begs more, her face now buried in my stomach.

I sigh, this is beyond me. "I am just a false soul Cirus, but I will help you. Can you tell me my name?" I say softly, petting the top of her head.

Cirus looks up at me, her eyes wide and her breath ragged. "It was Eros."

I bend down to face her, and Lazen's words ring in my head, just lie. "Then I will let you have me Cirus." She just needs someone to pretend to be her lover, and I can fulfill that role for her. I almost feel bad I'm not actually her, and I'm lounging in her desires.

"Thank you, Eros." she hugs me tight before letting me go. She kisses me tentatively, taking her time to savor it, her body pressed tight against mine as she holds me. I hold her tightly back, spreading my hands across her back. Well, I won't half-ass this, I'm going to give you the best I can muster.

We move to the bed and I hover over her taking all her features in, she's toned to an extreme, and her boobs are smaller but sensitive as I take one in my hand.

Her breath stalls and a muffled laugh comes from her mouth, "I'm nervous."

"It's okay dear I'll go slow for you, your comfort is more important." She slows her breathing as I talk and goosebumps rise on her velvet skin even quicker with every swipe of hand.

Her breath catches as she begins to cry. "I'm sorry I can't do this," she says wiping away her tears.

I place myself next to her in the bed, rubbing her back as she cries on my shoulder, the position is awkward but I let her get it out of her system.

"I feel pathetic," she mutters on my shoulder.

"You're not pathetic," I pulled her on my lap and let her body relax against me. "You lost someone you love, seeing someone so close to them," I look over to the picture, forcing myself to not roll my eyes, "would cause anyone to cry." I rub her back as I talk.

"You're really warm, can I ask you to do a favor for me? Can you just stay like this with me and maybe kiss the top of my head."

"I can do that." I kiss her head and stay like that with her until the tears dry and she falls asleep. I settle her next to me when a slight knock is at the door.

I go over and peek outside where Mave stands, I pull her into the room. "What happened here," she says quietly.

"She cried herself to sleep. Come here." I pull her into the attached bathroom and close the door so we can talk more freely.

"I've been looking for you. The people I got paired with took me to a different room and not the main one. They tied me up but argued the whole time about the "plans" until someone else came in and untried me. Totally fun when I'm trying to find you, I really didn't want to leave you alone in there." She looks like she has something else to say but stops herself before.

"Yeah, I got myself into some trouble as you can see. Mave, the tree is crying and Cirus is supposed to go inside of it. What's that about?" I ask and she looks at me in shock, trying to find words.

"No, our ancestor is supposed to be there but if the tree isn't working or our ancestor died then Cirus would be a good replacement. She would have a good enough bond with the tree to go inside of it. They're probably waiting until she's ready." she shrugs. I guess it really wasn't that big of a deal.

"So it's not something to worry about?" I ask skeptical about the whole thing still.
"No, if the ancients took out our ancestor then that's a problem and at this point with the Cupids I wouldn't put it past them," she scratched the back of her head, "but we don't have the information nor power to be able to do anything now. This would be something I would have to get the other section involved in, which could lead to a lot of fighting. Right now I want to solve the things going on with you, and then I can settle everything here." she touches my arm, grabbing it as she brings me closer, her head resting on my shoulder. "I needed this."

"Yeah me too," I melt in her touch, "next we need to leave and find Lazen," I say and she lifts her head to look at me.

"Right and this "friend" of hers." she motions with her hands. "Probably one of her sex friends who just knows a guy." she rolls her eyes. "Let's steal some clothing and head out."

We move quietly in the room, stealing clothes that are tight on me suffocating my boobs but mostly fit Mave. I look at Cirus as we leave, my eyes flickering to the picture just once more.
Mave finds Lazen quickly, I mean even in a pool of red she sticks out like a sore thumb with her large horns. Mave pulls her from the crowd and throws clothes at her.
"You couldn't have taken longer?" she raises her eyebrows at us as she gets dressed.

"Just put the clothes on." Mave demands in a demeaning voice. That's hot.

"Fine fine, let's go." Lazen dresses quickly and shows us a hallway unguarded by maids. We follow behind her, she's fast and light on her feet whistling as she goes.

"You're in a good mood." Mave comments.

"We're going to talk to our ancestors of course I am." she gets to a door and opens it revealing stairs up to a mountain. Fuck that.

Authors Note: I'm redoing a lot of the ending chapters as they have a lot of dialogue and I rather they have more showing instead of telling. I want to give you the audience a last look into this world before I wrap this all up. Also, a little life update I'm moving and engaged.
