Stories are often retold and over the amount they are spoken, they change. Each story having a different meaning or version of itself in how it was spoken and never written. Revisit an old friend, begin a new adventure, and be cautious of the danger...
Everyone was in awe at Taylor's, or Lotus', new look. Nezha was terrified, he remembered everything his family put her through, and it was clear she remembered now too. He couldn't move as Lotus stood back up.
"I remember everything. After I was shot, I woke up in your family's dungeon, I was tortured and killed in many ways but never died. Why? Because your family wanted answers I could never give! Because I was the mate of the Monkey King, and sister to the Six Eared Macaque!"
Lotus took a breath and her glare got sharper.
"I'm lucky the Jade Emperor found out what you all were doing. He freed me and turned me into a human baby after sealing away my memories and sent me to this world. His decree is here and stamped with his official seal."
She pulled out the paper found in the earing and got off the prince, letting him catch his breath and sit up. The monkey stepped further away and walked over to her parents, handing them the paper.
"Thank you both, for looking out for me." The three hugged and teared up as they did.
"You know you'll always be our daughter." Margaret said as they broke the hug, then the white monkey hugged Danny.
He kinda figured out what was going on and hugged back. "And you'll always be my little brother. Remember that okay?"
Lotus and Danny let go and the white monkey stepped back and took a breath as she started to explain. "My name isn't Taylor, it's Lotus. I am the mate of Sun Wukong, and sister to the Six Eared Macaque. I am Queen of Flower Fruit Mountain, and warrior guardian of the monkeys who live there."
She stomped her foot and flames engulfed her again, and when they disappeared, she was wearing a pair of Gi pants and a top to match. The outfit was blue and fit her figure well. And on her face was a purple mask like pattern that highlighted her blue eyes.
"And this is my true self."
Tang fanboyed as he saw and heard about the Queen of Flower Fruit Mountain and was writing rapidly in a journal as he made undistinguishable noises.
Lotus then turned to meet Wukong's gaze. His eyes were still wide in shock, but also awe as he stepped forward walking towards her. "I know what you're gonna say, Sun. How am I alive? How could I not have realized who I was before all of this?"
The king didn't seem to be focusing on her words as he came closer. "Well, I couldn't, it was part of the decree. I took a bite from the immortal peach you gave me, and I turned immortal like you."
Wukong was now only a few feet from the female monkey, and she was getting nervous. "Would you stop being so quiet, Sun? Go on, shout, scream, say something!"
Lotus stopped as the gold monkey cupped her cheek when he was close enough, tears were in both of their eyes as they looked into each other's souls. But the silence was soon broken by the monkey king.
"You're as beautiful as the day I lost you."
That is what made Lotus finally break and she looked down as the tears flowed from her eyes. Wukong lifted her head and leaned in, capturing her lips with his after so many centuries without her.

Mei was in tears as she put her phone away and was bawling her eyes out as Mk hugged Red Son as he cried his eyes out too. Jacob pulled his wife into a side hug, watching the sweet and tender moment. Tang was crying as he jotted down notes, but Pigsy stopped him and patted his back. Sandy sniffed at the two and wiped his eyes of the faint tears coming from them.
"This is so sweet!"
"I know!"
"Get off me, Noodle Boy!"
Lotus and Wukong separated and placed their foreheads together, happy to be together after so long. The two monkeys stayed in that position as light rain fell around them. The king hugged the queen and picked her up as they spun around while laughing.
Macaque smiled as he saw the two reunited. He still hated the monkey king, don't get that wrong, but he wasn't going to step in and ruin his sister's happiness.
"You're alive! Peaches, you're alive!" Wukong laughed as she hugged him around the neck. "Don't ever sacrifice yourself like that again!"
Lotus peppered his face with kisses and nuzzled under his chin. "I make no promises, Sunshine."
Danny came up and tugged on the king's pants, making the couple look to the boy. He glared at Wukong and crossed his arms. "Take care of my sister, mister."
Sun nodded but also shrugged. "Believe me when I say your sister can take care of herself, Danny. When we were younger, she singlehandedly took down a snake demon with her bare hands."
Lotus lightly hit him in the shoulder for that. "Glad you still remember that, but let's get Danny to the training grounds. Red, Macaque, you two ready?"
Macaque nodded and came over, standing with Danny. "Ready as I'll ever be, sis."
Red Son rolled his eyes but got up with Mk following, the Monkie Kid planting a light kiss on the fire demon's cheek. Said demon's hair went a flame after that.
Pigsy was angry and both Sandy and Tang were holding him back as Red joined the group. "What the heck was that?! There is no way-!" He kept ranting as Lotus used her blue flames to teleport the group somewhere.
When the fire died down, they saw a temple near a lake. The sky was clear, and Danny stared as he took in the place. "This is where dad trained you?"
"Yep, and we're gonna teach you now. First, let's get the shadow part of your fire under control." Lotus led them inside and to the main dojo. "Macaque, that's where you come in."
The shadow monkey nodded and had Danny activate his fire abilities. The boy fell through the fire shadow portal and fell from the ceiling. It was the infinity fall loop for a while until Lotus caught Danny before he fell into the portal again.
"Maybe show him what he needs to do."
"Alright, Red, you stay here, Lotus, you and Wukong go somewhere. No funny business, got it?"
Lotus rolled her eyes and went upstairs with Wukong, the female of them grabbing a book before going to one of the rooms.
Sun had his head on Lotus' waist as she laid on her side. He was listening while the white monkey read Pride and Prejudice to him, her tail flicking every now and then until Macaque burst into the room when she was halfway into the book.
"Are you two having sex?!"
Lotus looked to her mate as he opened one eye. "Really, Sunshine, you should've told me. I would've put my book down."
The two laughed before looking to Macaque, his fur was all puffed up. "Seriously, you two?"
"Macaque, brother, we wouldn't do that unless everyone was asleep, you ding-dong." Lotus closed her book and set it aside as Wukong sat up.
Macaque's fur went down, and he deadpanned. "Nice to know, but you both forget these things-." He pointed to his ears. "Hear almost everything."
Wukong then got on the bandwagon. "Then why did you think we were at it if you can hear almost everything?"
The shadow monkey facepalmed and left as he slammed the door. The couple then burst out laughing as this happened, it was funny. And their laugher died out as Lotus leaned on Wukong's chest as he had one arm around her and the other behind his head.
"Oh, man. Also, I don't think there's any protection here." That earn him a small slap to the chest. "Hey, no hitting the king."
