Nico woke to the sound of bustling activity outside the infirmary. The muffled sounds of laughter, clashing swords, and distant conversations filtered through the walls, indicating that Camp Half-Blood was alive and thriving.
His body still ached from the wounds and exhaustion. As he sat up, the sounds of Camp Half-Blood bustling with activity filtered through the curtains around his small, private area.
He rubbed his eyes, feeling the stiffness in his muscles from lying in bed for like aeons. He glanced around He glanced around, half-expecting to see Will sitting nearby but the chair next to his bed was empty. Will wasn't there. He felt a pang of disappointment, but quickly pushed it aside, telling himself it didn't matter.
Moments later, the curtain rustled and Will entered, balancing a tray with sandwiches, an apple, and a glass of milk. His warm smile seemed to light up the room, and Nico felt his heart skip a beat. He quickly averted his gaze, trying to maintain his usual grumpy demeanor.

Will's POV
"Morning, Nico," Will said cheerfully, carrying a tray with sandwiches, an apple, and a glass of milk. "Brought you some breakfast."
Nico turned back around, trying to keep his expression neutral. "Thanks," he muttered, reaching for the tray.
Will's eyes sparkled with amusement. "Aren't you a ray of sunshine this morning?" he teased, sitting down on the edge of the bed. "Come on, eat up. You need your strength."
Nico's stomach growled in response, betraying him. He reluctantly picked up a sandwich and took a bite. Will watched him, a warm smile spreading across his face.
"I'm glad to see you eating," Will said softly. Will tried to ignore the flutter in his chest. Will had made Nico promise 3 days of rest in the infirmary, so that he could heal.
"How long was I asleep ?" Nico asked him.
Will Answered" A whole day and that leaves you with just one more day in the infirmary. You'll be out tomorrow."
Nico took time to digest the fact " A whole day ?Really. That's way too much."

Nico's POV
As Nico continued eating, Will began checking his wounds. His touch was gentle, but every time Will's fingers brushed against his skin, Nico felt a strange, electric shock. It wasn't painful, but it was enough to make him flinch slightly. Nico considered, Will noticed it too, feeling a similar jolt each time their skin made contact. He wondered what was causing it but pushed the thought away.
"Why do I feel like this every time he touches me?" Nico wondered. "Why does it feel like electricity?"
Will noticed Nico's thoughtful expression. "Something on your mind?"
