### Chapter 7: Nightmares and Realities
Author's Note -:
Salve everyone!! First of all, I want to apologize for the delay . Life has been a bit chaotic, and I wanted to make sure I gave this chapter the attention it deserves. Writing about Nico's journey and his encounters with the shadows took a lot of thought and effort, but I hope it was worth the wait.
It was important to me to convey the sense of dread and the connection to the prophecy in a way that feels authentic and gripping.

Nico woke up with a start, drenched in sweat, his heart pounding in his chest. Dawn was breaking outside, casting a faint glow into the Hades cabin. He took a deep breath, trying to calm his racing heart.
The nightmare felt so real, too real. His thoughts were interrupted by the sound of hurried footsteps.
"Nico!" Jason and Piper burst into the room, their expressions filled with concern.
"We heard you scream. Are you okay?" Piper asked, her voice soft but urgent.
Nico nodded, trying to brush it off. "I'm fine. Just a bad dream."
Jason frowned, clearly not convinced. "Do you want to talk about it?"Nico shook his head. "No, it's nothing. Just a nightmare."
Jason and Piper exchanged worried looks but didn't press further. Nico appreciated their concern but couldn't bring himself to share the details of his dream.
Instead, he focused on getting ready for the day. As he dressed, his mind kept drifting back to the nightmare.
In his dream, he had stood in a dark, desolate landscape. The sky was a swirling mass of black clouds, occasionally lit by flashes of lightning.
The ground beneath his feet was cracked and barren, devoid of any life. He felt an oppressive weight in the air, a sense of impending doom that made it hard to breathe.
He had walked, his footsteps echoing in the eerie silence. Shadows crept along the edges of his vision, dark and malevolent.
They whispered his name, their voices low and haunting. He had tried to ignore them, focusing on the path ahead.
Suddenly, the ground shook violently, and Nico stumbled, nearly falling. A massive chasm opened in front of him.
From its depths, a thick, black smoke began to rise, and with it came an overwhelming sense of dread. The shadows grew bolder, closing in around him, their whispers growing louder and more insistent.
He tried to run, but his legs felt like lead. The shadows reached out, their cold fingers brushing against his skin, sending shivers down his spine.
He could hear their voices now, clear and menacing, speaking of darkness and death.
"Nico di Angelo, son of Hades," they hissed. "You cannot escape your destiny."
Figures emerged from the smoke, their faces twisted and grotesque.
