* Chapter 6: The Encounters *
Author's Note -:
Salve Readers ! This chapter took much longer than I expected to craft this chapter—there were so many threads to tie together and character arcs to develop. I really wanted to do justice to the story and make sure everything felt just right before sharing it with you.
Hope you like the picture. It has been taken ourselves to fit the description.
I know waiting can be frustrating, but I hope you find that it was worth it in the end. Your patience means the world to me, and I'm grateful for each and every one of you who has stuck around for the journey.
Now, about Chapter 6 itself—
First of all, it's in two parts and is the continuation of the last chapter, Ch - 5. It's a pivotal moment in the story.
We delve deeper into the characters' motivations and confrontations, setting the stage for what's to come. I've also added Nico's thoughts in italian and its english translation for diving further into his feelings.
Some big revelations are in store, and yes, there's a prophecy involved that might leave you hanging a bit. So, consider this your cliffhanger alert!

Nico's POV:
Nico di Angelo leaned against the sturdy trunk of an old oak tree, his mind whirling with anxiety. Jason's announcement of a potential attack on Camp Half-Blood had shaken him more than he liked to admit.
He'd seen the looks on everyone's faces: fear, concern, determination. But what really got to him was the uncertainty, the not knowing when or how the attack would come.
As he sat there, feeling the evening breeze on his face, he noticed the leaves around him turning brown and the grass wilting.
It wasn't the first time his emotions had this effect on his surroundings.
Being a son of Hades had its drawbacks, and this manifestation of his sadness and anxiety was one of them.
But tonight, it felt different. Harsher. More profound.
He sighed deeply, his thoughts a chaotic mix of worry and self-reproach.
Che cosa sta succedendo? Perché mi sento così impotente? (What is happening? Why do I feel so powerless?) He closed his eyes, trying to steady his breathing.
The sound of footsteps approaching pulled him from his thoughts. Nico opened his eyes to see Jason coming towards him. "Nico, why aren't you at dinner?"
Jason's voice was gentle but concerned. Nico shrugged. "Didn't feel like eating."
He didn't elaborate, but Jason didn't press further. Instead, he sat down beside Nico, his expression serious.
"Percy and I went to see Chiron and Mr. D after the announcement," Jason began. "We needed to discuss what we found out and figure out our next steps."
Nico looked at Jason, curiosity piqued. "What exactly did you find out?"
Jason took a deep breath. "We found evidence of someone tampering with the camp's magical barriers. It wasn't the Golden Fleece, but something else. Something darker. We think it might be the work of a group of monsters or even a demigod working against us. Chiron is worried that the barriers have been weakened enough to allow for an attack."
